Emerald Tourist Park

Modern cabin, after I asked for an upgrade to a villa. The motel rooms are like camp dongas.

It was nice and central to where we needed to be. The unit was lovely and very accommodating for our four legged baby

Close to town, quiet, good facilities, good price

The bed could have been situated better, tv very small, bit of a weird smell in the room, but went away when we opened the room up a bit.

have never slept on a mattress that was so hard! A few people had said to me not to stay at rhe Park as the mattresses were awful and I just thought "how hard could they really be?" The answer is - like concrete. I had to cut my stay short due to a change in my roster and I realise that thw park wasn't obligated to give me a refund, but any other time Ive had a change of roster thw accomdation venue has been more than willing to help. The floors in the donga were filthy. I walked around inside without shoes for about an hour and the bottom of my feet were filthy. The bed was on an angle where you couldn't see the TV. All up it wasn't great. (And I am not the 'princess' type . I have stayed in more than my fair share of mining accomodation.
