Tricky drive to get there but totally worth it. The cabin in beautiful. I can not put into words how stunning the view is. The cabin is cozy and warm. The beds and bedding are very comfortable. I recommend going with plenty of food and just stay there for a few days. It is a destination in itself.

You get this place for the view. It's something you do not get at many places. When you sit on the deck you can see the massive mountains which was amazing.
Having a 4x4 helps If you drive up from Cerra Castillo. It was okay for us but we had an elevated car and we were confident going up. If you are not I'd recommend driving in from Puerto Ibanez. For the rest, it's a pretty basic cabin. You need to warm your showering water with an actual fire stove which takes time to heat up. While this has its charms I do believe it's help to have a kettle and maybe a 1 pit stove for quick heat ups.
