Ruhige Wohnung mit Parkplatz, charmantes Viertel

Super Lage, direkt um die Ecke befindet sich ein belebter Platz mit Tram Verbindung, Bäcker und netten Restaurants. Trotzdem ruhig in einer Seitenstraße. Schöner Balkon mit Blick in den grünen Hinterhof. Die Wohnung hat alles was man braucht und war auch so weit sauber. Toll waren die beiden Ventilatoren für die heißen Tage.

Das Bad hat seine besten Jahre hinter sich und irgendwann reicht gutes Putzen auch nicht mehr aus. Eine Renovierung würde die Wohnung auf jeden Fall deutlich aufwerten. In der Küchenecke hätte ich mir ein kleines Starter Paket gewünscht. Was einfaches, wie z.b. löslichen Kaffee. Es gibt zwar ne super Siebträger-Maschiene, dafür aber keine Bohnen und bei den paar Tagen habe ich es nicht eingesehen extra teure Bohnen für mich allein zu kaufen. Generell hat mir der gewisse Touch von "ich freue mich, dass du hier gast bist" gefehlt.

Die Lage ist sehr gut, Eisdiele, Bars, Restaurants direkt um die Ecke. Es ist angenehm ruhig, die Ausstattung der Wohnung ist okay, das Bett ist bequem.

Es gibt so gut wie keine Verdunklungsmöglichkeit für den Schlafbereich.

Die Wohnung ist gut gelegen, man ist mit Öffis schnell überall in Kassel (KasselCard für 3 Tage für 2 Personen 14 Euro). Sie hat einen Fahrstuhl und einen schönen Balkon in den wunderschön grünen Innenhof. Es ist ein gut strukturiertes Einzimmerappartement mit Bettnische (Blick aus dem Fenster) und Kochnische. Hier war alles sehr sauber und auch für einen längeren Aufenthalt (wir waren 10 Tage da) war alles da. Es gibt ein neues Cerankochfeld mit guten Töpfen. Der Vermieter hat sich um alle Fragen schnell und gut gekümmert und war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Bad ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, war aber für unseren Aufenthalt ok. Insgesamt haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt und konnten von dieser schönen Wohnung aus Kassel und den Raum Kassel perfekt erkunden. Alle nötigen Geschäfte sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Es gibt im Hof einen kostenlosen Parkplatz.

Hier gibt es wenig zu sagen, außer dass das Bad etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist.

Location of this place is great as it is close to the area where we had been visiting family and now far away from local eateries and public transportation.

The bed pillows smelled, as well the pillows on the couch. They probably all need to get a Ozon treatment or simply replaced. It is not the outer part it was actually the filling smelling so bad that we had to evacuate them to the balcony during our stay. In addition when we arrived a old used diaper and empty baby food containers had been hanging in a bag at the door. Most likely the cleaner , if he/she cleaned forgot to take it with them. Still not a happy welcome. Last not least we booked this place because of the included car parking. However when we arrived the street to the entrance to the parking behind the house was blocked off by construction. The Host after being contacted first stated he was surprised about that, although all house parties we talked too mentioned it was weeks before via postal mail announce, he thought we could still drive in when asking the construction crew. That advice did not worked out for us, as either the crew was working in front of the entrance during the day, or in the evening other folks parked for the night in front of the street barrier, blocking the entrance to the house. At the end we had to hunt every afternoon for a legal parking spot, which are rare as we discovered in that area, pay for a few hours of parking and move early in the morning to avoid parking tickets. It was something we wanted to avoid in the first place and added extra burden and effort on our part. If we would had know the parking situation beforehand we would had canceled that particular reservation and moved then to another Hotel with easy parking. In a summary I would state that based on our own experience that the host is not really very much interested to assist if issue come up. If the parking issue would not been an issue for us, the pillows not smelling and trash left at the door as welcome present this place could had potential and be actually a good option.
