Apartamento Patrick by Sunnyway

Great location. It was clean and comfortable and I have no complaints

Nothing everything was perfect

We were warmly welcome by Ana who was very responsive with any help or question during our stay (thank you for the welcome pack!). The bedroom and living room were big and very comfortable with a large terrasse. The shop across the road has very nice coffee and fresh croissants (perfect for breakfast!) + everything you may need (not the cheapest though). The 2 swimming pools were nice (quite small but lots of loungers). The staff at the hotel was very helpful. The apartment's not far from the beautiful Santa Luisa beach (10 min walk) and lots of restaurants (5 min walk on the right or 15 min walk to the centre of albufeira).

The apartment (especially the bedroom but even the living-room) needs proper double-glazing because of the noise from the road and occasionally neighbours (please have them put soft rubbers under chairs and so do you!!) The floor hadn't been cleaned! The booklet of information is pretty useless as it's not specific to this place.

The flat was partially recently renovated and is situated on the grounds of a hotel resort, very close to the Maria Luisa Beach and with several pools that the guests can use. The flat had two AC units, a good size balcony facing a road but still private with a table and few chairs where we enjoyed a few meals and drinks at the end of the day. Across the street there was two ATMs machines, a pharmacy, a little market open until 9 pm. There's also parking on the premises.

The bed and pillow could be improved. The bed had a very hard mattress and the only pillow we had had a very bad quality. The host asked on the check-out what could be improved. I forgot to mention these two things. A much better pillow would probably suffice to improve sleep.

Great location, beautiful beaches within walking distance. Super cute and convenient grocery store across the street with everything you need. Pool area is well-maintained. Host was easy to reach and quick to respond to issues. The private patio is great, big with an extendable awning

Staff at the resort were at the end of their ropes with other guests and decided to take it out on us while getting a drink. The shower didn’t drain at all and backed up with chunky brown water. Several of the sheets and blankets were clearly not clean, they had different coloured hairs and popcorn kernels on them. The couch hadn’t even been vacuumed. The water from the taps in the apartment was yellow-tinged, didn’t encounter this anywhere else. The apartment is a little small for three people, Wi-Fi is very spotty.
