Coastal retreats, Beech rise, primrose valley

On arrival nice quiet location well away from all bar’s & entertainment areas. Patio doors open onto seating area very nice. Good size bedrooms and two toilets it is a 8 berth.

On arrival found no hot water suspected gas and found them empty yet it had been prepped, rang the owner who acted quickly resolved with gas. Went to cook and found the oven not cleaned the hob and the oven tray filthy from the last person here. Erm had to clean and then a fork dirty. Not a great start cleaned all cutlery to be sure. Could do with more spoons etc for 8 people £5 at the charity shop would be a good spend stock up on spoons etc. 👍😀 Can’t blame the owner for not been clean but his cleaning team need a word with them. 🧐 Everything else was fine.

Needs more kitchen items like tumblers, chopping board. Couldn’t get the heating to work

Caravan wasn't clean, dirty cushions on beds, sand and nappies in cupboard above fridge, fridge not clean and food left in cupboards from last guests, mould in shower and old toiletries left. Finger prints and face prints of children on tv, fire, and windows. Contacted coastal retreats cleaner came back the next day removed cushions and sand and nappies and cleaned tv. Tried to contact again, but there was no reply. I had to buy cleaning produced and clean the kitchen myself. We didn't spend any time in the caravan apart from sleeping. The caravan ruined the first two days of the stay. We will be looking into getting some sort of compensation, when the caravan alone cost over £550 for 4 nights Can only add 4 photos to the review.
