AYIRA Maldives

Nice quiet location between two beaches - local one to snorkel and bikini to swim and sunbathe. Bikini beach has sunbeds and umbrellas which belong to the hotel, so you can chill there all day long. Rooms are comfortable, there is a separate space like a little balcony outside to dry your clothes, comfy beds, good AC, and everything you need like a little fridge, tea, coffee, water and etc. Everyday cleaning and fresh towels as well. There were yummy breakfasts with fruits and some homemade sweet cakes, local or continental, both delicious, and huge dinner with grilled fish😋 Many thanks to wonderful hosts of this place - Amjad and his family, they make your stay really home-like, you feel very taken care of every day, and you come to Amjad with every question or help you need, and he is always here to help you :) He gave my mom the fins and several times went snorkeling with us to show us beautiful corals and safe areas. Much appreciate all the help! I wish all the best to this beautiful island and Ayira ❤

About the island in general: local shops are often closed and if you want some fruits for lunch or dinner, you should probably bring them from Male.

We had a beautiful time at Ayira and extended our stay. The whole island of Feridhoo was so calming and peaceful. Most of the time we had the whole bikini beach for ourselves. Ayira provides sunbeds and Umbrellas, which is quite comfortable. If beautiful beaches, calm surroundings and pure relaxation is what you are looking for, you are the right place. And as Feridhoo is also an island with many local ferrys taking off, its perfect to reach many other islands for very little money if you want to explore other places as well. Although we travelled here in late September, we only experienced about 3 minutes of rain within 4 days. Ayira is a family business with everyone being really nice and helpful. They organized the transport from the airport to the Island, we got picked up at the harbor with a Golf cart and shown around the island. They were always interested in giving us a good and safe time, providing snorkeling gear and informing us about currents etc. The breakfast was really tasteful and enough to take the leftovers to the beach and have a snack or even lunch there. The room was amazingly clean, with perfect-working AC and wifi and comfy interieur. We can nothing but recommend this place for short or longtime stays.

Abbiamo soggiornato presso Ayira Maldives a Feridhoo e non possiamo che consigliarlo con tutto il cuore! Fin dal primo momento siamo stati accolti e coccolati da Amjad, il proprietario, una persona davvero speciale, sempre disponibile e attenta a ogni nostra esigenza. Durante il nostro soggiorno eravamo gli unici ospiti e questo ci ha permesso di sentirci ancora più coccolati e viziati in ogni nostra richiesta. La struttura è pulitissima, curata e accogliente, la camera molto spaziosa e bella e le colazioni davvero strepitose. Abbiamo provato soprattutto la colazione maldiviana, che non avevamo mai assaggiato e che ci è piaciuta tantissimo! Bellissime anche le escursioni organizzate. Abbiamo adorato in particolare quella che ci ha permesso di nuotare con i nurse shark, accompagnati da una guida molto esperta e, cosa che abbiamo apprezzato tantissimo, anche parlante italiano. Due mattine Amjad ci ha accompagnati personalmente a fare snorkeling, facendoci sentire sempre protetti e tranquilli, soprattutto non essendo esperti. Indimenticabile anche la pesca con i locals, conclusa con una cena a base del pesce che avevamo pescato! Tutto è stato curato nei minimi dettagli, dal cibo al servizio, con una cura che ci ha fatto sentire come in un vero resort di lusso. Ayira Maldives è stata per noi un’esperienza autentica, speciale e piena di attenzioni. Grazie di cuore ad Amjad per la sua infinita disponibilità, gentilezza e per aver reso il nostro soggiorno a Feridhoo così speciale.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt im AYIRA guesthouse sehr genossen. Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Der Besitzer hat sich um alle Wünsche gekümmert und war sehr zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück war unglaublich lecker und ausgiebig. Man konnte ausserdem Schnorchelausrüstung ausleihen, um im wunderschönen Housereef zu schnorcheln. Vielen Dank für die schönen Tage auf Feridhoo!
