Noūs Santorini, a Member of Design Hotels

We had a wonderful stay at NOŪS Santorini. The whole hotel has a very calm, peaceful and pleasant atmosphere, even in the evenings, which made it incredibly relaxing. Our room was spectacular, and the private pool was absolutely dreamy. The main pool is also huge and beautifully designed, with very pleasant surrounding areas that make it a lovely place to spend time during the day. Breakfast was fantastic, with excellent quality and plenty of choice. We also really appreciated the lunch box the hotel prepared for us because we had to leave during the night — a very thoughtful touch. We had a small issue involving a dinner that had been charged twice, but the hotel dealt with it promptly and professionally, which we really appreciated. Overall, a beautiful, peaceful hotel with excellent facilities and a very high standard of service. We truly hope to return one day, as Santorini has stayed in our hearts.

There was, however, one incident at the restaurant that we did not appreciate. On one evening, after dinner, the waiter insisted that we pay in cash because the card machine was not working. That was not a problem for us. However, when we asked for a receipt or proof of payment, we were told that the machine used to issue receipts was also not working. We found this quite unusual for a hotel of this category, particularly as no alternative proof of payment was provided. When we checked out, the same dinner appeared on our bill again as unpaid, together with a signed receipt that had clearly not been signed by us. Fortunately, the hotel handled the matter promptly and resolved it satisfactorily, which we really appreciated. For that reason, we believe the hotel management should be attentive to this type of behaviour from individual staff members, as situations like this can create unnecessary doubt and are not consistent with the standards expected from a hotel of this category.

Extremely beautiful location and infrastructure. Spa was absolutely fantastic. Staff were extremely friendly and beyond helpful and proactive to provide us with the perfect locations for our experience. The rooms were lovely and it felt like it was a secluded stay. Not a single flaw. The private pool area was perfect too.
