Il Trullo di Francesca

The Trullo is so great! And Francesca is super helpful and responsive. Anything we needed she was right there to help! This place is great for a family holiday or to enjoy with friends as it is very spacious. The outside area is lovely, with space for a barbecue and chilling! The location is very remote, giving you a lot of privacy. - you will need a car to get there as the area has no taxis. But it is only a 10-15min drive to the town centre. We only spent a couple of days as we booked for a wedding we were attending nearby, but I wished we had more time to enjoy the Trullo 🥰 The pool is great in size, but it is above ground. This was not a problem for us, but good to keep in mind if bringing small children.

The only thing not ideal for me was the bed in the master bedroom. It was extremely soft, so while it is comfy to lay in for a bit, it would have giving me a bad back to spend the night in it. It was not a problem for us as it was only 2 of us so we could just take one of the other 2 double beds. But something to keep in mind for anyone over the age of 30 that needs a bit more back support ha-ha

Nicely renovated typical apulian house (trullo & lamia) where I spent 4 nights with my family. There is a lot of space for 4 people both inside and outside the house. The property has a well-kept garden and an out of ground swimming pool perfect for refreshing. Francesca and Loredana are very helpful, fast in answering for suggestions and not intrusive hosts. At the arrival we found an homemade cake, marmelades, fruits...very appreciated "welcome kit". The kitchen is fully furnished. The wifi signal is very strong. The house is located in the best country side area of Ceglie Messapica; not too far from the city center (10 minutes by car). This is a quite and relaxing place in the middle of olives trees with a butcher and a masseria selling apulian typical foods both at 3 minutes by car. We will come back again.
