Varam Homestay

We had a very pleasant stay at this homestay. It is a great choice for small families or couples of 2–3 people. The location is excellent, right in the heart of Madikeri and next to the Omkareshwara Temple. Popular attractions like Raja's Seat, Madikeri Fort, and the main market are all within a short distance, making sightseeing very convenient. The hosts were very welcoming, polite, and helpful throughout our stay. The homestay was clean and well-maintained. Useful facilities like a refrigerator and water purifier were also available, which made our stay more comfortable.

Good location and well setup apartment.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Filtered water, fridge to keep it cool. Cooking facilities if you need them. Then there is the balcony where you can watch the comings and goings at the temple opposite. Not only do you get all this, in addition there is the wonderful hospitality and helpfulness of Pradeep and Usha. They provided me suggestions on places to visit nearby. Then there are the lovely home cooked breakfasts! Location is good for walking into town or Raja's seat. One of my nicest stays this trip.

This is just me but I react to air fresheners and chemical scents. There is an electronic air freshener in the lounge which Pradeep switched off. The others I put in a draw until I left.
