Varam Homestay

We were looking for a good and reasonably priced place to stay. The reviews were all excellent and we booked here. We arrived late in the evening and from our arrival till departure, the lovely couple who run the place took care of us like their family. A true Atithi Devo Bhava Experience! The Home Cooked Breakfast was awesome and delicious (I mean really delicious!). The Room is well ventilated, the bathroom is spacious, the location is excellent as its barely 1-2 kms from the heart of Madikeri. Adequate Street Parking is available. The surroundings are also reasonably quiet and you are always greeted with a smile that comes from their heart! I boldly recommend this place to anyone who wants a nice, clean & cozy place to stay. Its not a resort.

Honestly we didn't find anything to dislike.

The place is very clean. Genuine people. Feels like home. Location is also good. The famous omkareswara temple is near by.

We had a very pleasant stay at this homestay. It is a great choice for small families or couples of 2–3 people. The location is excellent, right in the heart of Madikeri and next to the Omkareshwara Temple. Popular attractions like Raja's Seat, Madikeri Fort, and the main market are all within a short distance, making sightseeing very convenient. The hosts were very welcoming, polite, and helpful throughout our stay. The homestay was clean and well-maintained. Useful facilities like a refrigerator and water purifier were also available, which made our stay more comfortable.
