Beach House MIMA

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. Le logement était propre, la nourriture était bonne et le personnel vraiment serviable. La vue était très belle et nous nous sommes sentis en sécurité.

Les chambres manquaient un peu de lumière, mais on s’y adapte facilement.

It was what I wanted especially during low season but others might prefer staying 1-2km further along the beach where there are more nearby amenities.

Babou, Muhammad, and the rest of the team are lovely.

To call this place luxury is a stretch. It may have been when it was built, 20+ years ago, but having some polished concrete surfaces doesn't really qualify. The bed was uncomfortable, there are no hairdryers, hospitality trays, mini fridges or TVs in the rooms - all of which yoi woild find in a three star in Paris. Rules are myriad and mostly ridiculous, they do not take card payments, they charge for everything outside of breakfast, even tea and coffee and anyvgas you use for the BBQ. It promotes itself on being like your home, but I would never charge my house guests for coffee or BBQ gas! The website says three fridges are 'fully available' to use, but you are only allowed to put your food items in the small fridge outside. You are not allowed to store drinks in any fridge. The pool is not big enough to swim in, and definitely not heated (as per the claim on the website). The cupboard doors are hanging off in the communal area. Plus when we arrived the owner's family were also staying and made us feel totally unwelcome, we were then on edge for the next three days until they left. I could go on, and on. In short, don't book this place if you are expecting a high-end experience.
