Excellent place to visit the Black Forest, with great hosts 🐈

Incredible as it may seem (because the pictures look awesome), the apartment is exactly as described. It’s a reformed basement but, contrary to other similar properties, this one is super bright and very well lit. Thomas and Marie are very clear, responsive and friendly. Nevertheless, the best host is Bella (their cat), hands down. She is 100% the cherry on top of this amazing property. We will certainly come back in the future, we still have a lot of Black Forest to enjoy and Thomas and Marie’s apartment is perfectly located for that purpose.

Nothing. It was perfect. Just a tip for other travelers like us who come in winter from warmer climates (for us, it’s Catalonia): make sure to bring something to remove ice from the windshield of your car, since you will be leaving it outside.

Great property in a handy location to explore all areas of the Black Forest. Excellent communication from the start from the owners. Perfect for anyone wishing to self cater.

100% clean, spacious, modern and cosy apartment. I just recommend it!

Location, accomodation and services superate the expectation. The apartment structure is quite new as the building as well. You find anything you need on the apartment. The kitchen has a dishwasher machine, stove, coffee machine with capsules,.... Living room with a big smart tv to watch whatever you want. Bathroom is amazing, the shower place is spacious. The bedroom is fine, with big wardrobe and a big bed. In general, the space is well distributed, very clean, with new and modern furnitures. The owner is an open-minded, flexible and a very kind person, who also let my daughter play on a big Trampolin outside. If I back to Gengenbach one day, I won't hesitate to contact again this place. Nice experience there!

If I still need to add something to improve, maybe only the pillows are a little soft or low, but this is a personal feeling. I don't have complains at all with this place. Recommended 100%.

Perfect studio for Black Forest travelers

The studio is exactly as it is presented in the photos. A new construction, part of a beautiful house, with its own entrance. Very clean, very spacious, very bright despite the fact that it is a semi basement. Fully equipped, smartly designed, meets all the needs for a "home away from home". It is located 2 km away from Gengenbach center, in a very quiet and beautiful neighbourhood. Thomas is a really nice guy, ready to help when needed. We were on a motorcycle trip and he let us park our motorcycles in his own, camera covered parking. That was a very important detail for us. Strongly recommended airbnb option for Black Forest travelers!

Clean, good space and well equipped. Great base if you would like to hike and visit the towns around that region of the black forest. Host was extremely kind and replies fast to any questions. Owns a beautiful cat which was a plus point! Would return if an opportunity arises.

El apartamento estaba perfecto, contaba con varios detalles e incluso Thomas nos dijo que cualquier cosa que faltara se lo comentáramos. Los anfitriones son encantadores, muy amables y serviciales. Sin duda, si volvemos por la zona repetiremos! Además, la ubicación es perfecta si quieres visitar la Selva Negra, está cerca de todo lo más relevante y el pueblo de Gengenbach es chulísimo y cuenta con todos los servicios (por ejemplo, tiene un LIDL y una gasolinera muy cerca).

Perfekter Zwischenstopp

Sehr ruhig gelegenen in einer Wohnsiedlung am Rande der Stadt. Perfekt ausgestattet. Penibel sauber. Netter, hilfreicher Gastgeber. Alles da, was man braucht für einen kurzen Aufenthalt. Hundefreundlich. Parkmöglichkeiten gratis auf der Straße.

Es war eine super Woche und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Hervorragend Lage! Ca. 500m zu Bäcker und Supermarkt. Man kann bequem zu Fuß gehen. Unser Hund war wirklich willkommen. Die Wohnung ist am Ortsrand. Dadurch waren wir sofort draußen für kurze Runden zum Gassi gehen, wo man den Hund auch mal frei laufen lassen kann. Hundekotmülleimer ist ebenfalls in nächster Nähe. Die Wohnung liegt in einer verkehrsberuhigten Zone, dadurch können die Kinder entspannt draußen vor dem Haus spielen. Wasserkocher, Filterkaffeemaschine und Nespresso-Kapselmaschine waren vorhanden. Fernseher war mit der Möglichkeit Netflix oder Prime zu schauen, wenn man ein Abo/Account hat. Das war für uns super! Dann könnten wir abends gemeinsam einen Film schauen ohne Werbung und uns rausschmeißen, was wir wollten.

Gerne einen großen Besen oder Staubsauger und ein paar weitere Putzutensilien und noch mehr Kochutensilien (weiterer kleiner Topf und Pfanne, sowie Auflaufform) und kleine Gläser/Becher und evtl. Tassen für Kinder. Bei Kindern geht oft mal was daneben und mit Hund gibt es einfach auch mehr Dreck in der Wohnung, außerdem kochen wir auch in der Ferienwohnung viel. Auf Rückfrage haben wir direkt einen Besen vom Gastgeber bekommen! Das war wieder super. Damit kamen wir gut über die Runden!

Piccola perla a Gengenbach

L'appartamento è delizioso, caldo ed accogliente. L'unica cosa che manca e un microonde. Parcheggio auto gratuito e vicinissimo alla casa. Posizione strategica per visitare i paesi limitrofi anche sul versante francese. Proprietari attenti alle esigenze del cliente. Consigliato!

Sehr moderne Ferienwohnung so richtig zum Wohlfühlen!

Sehr freundliche Vermieter! Optimal für unseren Aufenthalt mit Hund geeignet, da die Wohnung sehr ruhig liegt und man gleich in der Natur ist. Des Weiteren sind auch Bäcker und Geschäfte zu Fuß in kürzester Zeit erreichbar. Aufgrund der geringen Außentemperatur haben wir uns umso mehr gefreut, dass die Wohnung mollig warm war.
