Very poor service and staff except for 1 or 2 people. For the 5 star prices you pay, you expect staff to at the very least smile at you when talking. Most of them made me feel like they were doing me a favour.
At the restaurants, the waiters wouldnt even give us the menu until we asked for it and then do so with an unwelcoming expression. I do not believe that the staff are bad people but that they have been trained very poorly.
But the worst of it was that the airconditioning in the room did not work! We had to sleep in a stuffy room with a baby all night.
The hotel is beautiful and in such a great location with so much potential, a pity that the poor staff and service has let it down. It would perhaps recommend if it cost half the price, but at the current prices, absolutely not.
The only good and polite staff member I encountered was one guy at the coffee shop and Adalat at the reception.
