Really cute little property with plenty of character.🏠🏠

It was in a ideal location very close to the harbour. When we arrived at the property it was lovely and warm the owner had left us chocolate, wine and milk which was so thoughtful 😊 The kitchen was supplied with everything you needed and even a dishwasher. We had to use bottled water which was supplied but as the owner explained it was due to having a water softener system but that was not an issue at all. The beds were really comfortable and there was plenty of towels supplied to be able to have a clean one each night. We would definitely stay again if we were to visit Wells again.

The very best 60th. Birthday surprise celebration for my husband

Location, location, location. Perfect for two couples coming together and having a bathroom and bedroom each. Lovely welcome items left especially the milk after a 3 and half hour journey to be able to immediately have a hot drink-thank-you. Very attentive and accommodating host.

Ideal location

Location was perfect about a mile from the beach. Comfy beds and new bathrooms. The deli a few steps away had gorgeous food and much needed tea and coffee. Although small in appearance easily coped with 3 adult sized people and a dog. Free nightlight was a good touch to enable ease of movement in the night to the bathroom. Free biscuits and milk on arrival also good touches.

Very noisy being close to the footpath and road. Lots of crumbs on the sofa and the door in the downstairs bedroom to the main road allowed alot of noise in. Unable to drink the mains water for some reason. Lots of bottled water provided foc but made life a bit hard and made the tea and coffee taste strange. Stairs are very tight no problem for a young family, but the older generation would struggle. £11 for 24 hours in the carpark was an extra £30 didn't plan for. In fairness there is road parking but you have to be very lucky to grab a spot. No outdoor space to let the dog out in the night or early morning.

An really excellent base for a holiday on the North Norfolk coast. We had a lovely time.

The property was in a superb location near the harbour with easy access to lovely walks and the Holkham Estate which was around a 40 minute walk. Excellent shops and restaurants were within a very short walk. The property was beautifully warm at all times, in all areas of the house. Very comfortable beds with a twin room on the ground floor and a double bedroom on the first floor. The property was very clean. Nice quiet location at night with no traffic noise. T.V. in living area and main bedroom. Thoughtful extras from the host ie milk, biscuits and a bottle of wine. Our host saved a parking space outside the property with his own car.

Parking was potentially a little difficult. Free on street parking but spaces not always available. Pay and display carpark opposite which worked well when needed. Some people may find the stairs a little difficult being a bit steep and winding. It was no problem for us and good handrail and extra handle for coming down. Kitchen is compact but everything needed is provided.

Enjoyable holiday on the whole just had to eat out more!!!

Location, cleanliness, hospitality service excellent.

What wasn't very good in our experience was there was NO drinking water, it had to be supplied from the shops in bottles and only a twin hot plate is not sufficient to cook on especially as this dwelling can take upto 4 people.

Plenty of room, clean, well equipped, two bathrooms, nice quirky layout, close proximity to town, welcome bottle of wine and tea/coffee/milk etc, friendly host

Maybe a few more kitchen implements (scissors and tongs!) but only very minor, nothing not to like really!

Quirky, charming little cottage in a perfect location to enjoy wonderful Wells.

We phoned Bob on the day and he told us the door would be open, which it was. Bob also saved a parking space for us which was a great bonus at such a busy time. We met him later when he made sure we had everything we needed. The cottage was very well equipped and even had milk, water and wine provided.

Although it didn't bother us, the stairs are very steep and would be a problem for anyone with mobility issues.

Fabulous spot in centre of Wells

Fabulous cottage in great location a few steps from centre of Wells. It was spotlessly clean with milk, biscuits, condiments, shower gels all provided. Added bonus was the owner had put cones on road in front of cottage to allow us to park. Great stay for 2 nights and would definitely book again.

Love the location, great for a few nights stay. Facilities as expected - well resourced. We took our two small dogs and we could have done with an outside area, but apart from that it was just what we needed.

Would have loved an outside area. We were fine with the stairs, however they are very steep so consider this if you are not used to stairs.

A very enjoyable mini break!

This cosy cottage was so central in Wells with easy access to the Harbour, pubs, restaurants, cafes and the beach. It worked perfectly for us. Parking was available - on request- right in front of the property.

Just be aware: There is no outside area. This didn’t bother us for this stay though.

The location was brilliant - a few yards from the quay and near to coffee bars, shops and restaurants. Small house but well kitted out and location made up for everything.

Cosy cottage in a great location.

Seaview cottage is ideally located, just a few yards from the quayside, places to eat and also the coast path. It was spotlessly clean and comfortable with everything you need for a few days self-catering. Bob was friendly and welcoming and had kindly left us a bottle and milk which were much appreciated. We had some lovely walks up to the beach and along to Holkham, saw seals and generally enjoyed a pleasant couple of days there.

Wells-Next-The-Sea is lovely. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Unfortunately the whole kitchen needed a deep clean. No plugs by the double bed. Dirty kitchen knives. Unpleasant dishwasher. (We opted to wash up by hand)

Very well prepared for our stay.. Everything we could want in the kitchenette. Owners very helpful in providing an initial parking space. Very comfortable and warm, with heating where needed.

Not exactly a sea view! Streetside location but flat well soundproofed. The internal staircase was difficult to negotiate with luggage etc and could be difficult for the less mobile.

Quirky location very near the quay and all the facilities. Parking space outside the property reserved by the owner which was a nice touch. Comfy bed. Very quiet.

Steep narrow stairs to first floor but we knew that when we booked so it didn't worry us. Nothing the owner can do about that as its is the design.

Everywhere appeared super clean and it was great to have the two bathrooms. Everything you need and a great host who even reserved us a parking space on the street. Recommend to anyone looking for a small cottage for the family to stay in at Wells.

The stairs are steep, but then the listing does state this, a little tricky to get luggage upstairs. The kitchen has most things for a small stay, but its not somewhere you would want to attempt to cook a big evening meal.

Welcoming cosy cottage

This cottage far exceeded our expectations. It has a welcoming atmosphere. The owner saved a parking space right outside but there is a large public car park opposite. Plenty of space for us and the dog. The stairs up to living area are steep and tight. The dog found coming down frightening, she isn't used to stairs. Someone with mobility problems would struggle. Bed in upstairs bedroom very comfortable. Cottage in an ideal location. Just yards from the quay, beach is a mile away, but anyone who knows Wells will know that, its an easy stroll down to one of the best beaches in England. There is beach parking if needed. We will certainly visit again.
