The North Shore

Beautiful house, lovely theme through out. Had all we needed. Was close by to shops and the beach. Water pressure in shower excellent. All the basics catered for. Highly recommended

Single beds on first landing mattresses were not comfortable. There isn't a dishwasher which was a pain, but workable. The facilities were accurately noted so not a complaint. The chairs/stools in the dining room are very heavy. Struggled to move these in prep for meals. Carpet runs on the landing kept on moving, covering the stairs which was dangerous. The owner was very helpful when we needed more spoons and had a power cut. The 'not likes' would not put me off booking this place again. It is genuinely a great place to stay.

Brilliant location, close to theatre, promenade, pier all within walking distance. Lovely size of property lots of space, over multiple floors. Comfortable beds allowed for a good nights sleep.

Lack of bits and bobs that would be useful such as hand soap in bathrooms/ kitchen, carpet runners do present as a tripping hazard and need constant readjustment. Cleanliness of crockery and glasses were hit and miss.

Property nice and warm once you worked out that radiators needing turning down on first floor to allow heat through to radiators on floor 2. Plenty of space for 6 guests. Shower rooms good and plenty of hot water.

Kitchen in need of deep clean. Baking trays old and sticky. Only one plastic chopping board which was well used. Single bed on 2nd floor broken (this was reported to cleaner on leaving)and mattress on this bed badly stained. No pillows or mattress protectors.
