A great apartment at a really good price — highly recommended!

During our two-week holiday, we travelled extensively and stayed in seven different apartments in the Italian Valtellina and Swiss Engadin regions. La Casina Sondrio was definitely the best of these. It was exceptional in many ways. 1. The host, Elena, is extremely friendly. 2. The apartment is huge and located in the city centre, yet in a completely secluded part of the building, ensuring total peace and quiet. 3. In my opinion, the cost/performance ratio is excellent. 4. There is a parking spot in the garage. 5. Netflix is available on a huge TV screen. 6. Last but not least, nowhere else did we receive such a nice welcome package. I have to admit that I was completely sold when I learned that there was a complimentary can of beer in the fridge! :)

Wonderful.

Such a central location. Close the train station, shops, restaurants etc. having the parking was a godsend. Comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen and nice to sit on the balcony for breakfast. Super quiet from the road for a good night sleep. Elena is an excellent host and nothing is a problem. You can’t go wrong staying here for any trip in the region.

Wonderful stay

Exceptional behavior from the owner. She helped lot to get transport. Room is very spacious, clean and all facilities are provided. Breakfast not included but she provided some snacks. Secure garrage provided for free of coat even it has charge. Kids enjoyed with playing materials.

Perfect hub to explore the region and enjoy time with friends and family

Elena was one of the nicest people I have ever met. Only downside was a lack of knowledge of the English language which was counteracted by Elena successfully trying her best to communicate with us nevertheless. / The rooms were decorated very nicely and Elena prepared a little present witch Italian specialties for us which we really enjoyed. / The apartment is located almost perfectly. Sondrios center is available by foot and Sondrio itself is a perfect hub to explore the region. / The included garage would fit up to 3 vehicles and sill have enough room for bikes and other outdoor gear.

Despite showing in the pictures and being mentioned in the description, there was no oven in the kitchen. The kitchen overall was quipped only to prepare basic meals. / Dogs are now 10 € per night. (Understandable, but the policy did not exist by our time of booking the accommodation.)

Awesome place to stay!

For a very long time we did not find an accommodation we did not want to leave. Everything was perfect, fine-tuned to the last detail. Elena is a very nice and helpful host. In addition to the great location and perfect cleanliness, I would like to highlight for example the fully equipped kitchen or the welcome gift. We travelled as two couples with two dogs. The accommodation offers peace and privacy. One word in conclusion - amazing!

Exceptional

Very lovely hosts with an extraordinary place to stay in Sondrio. It is a clean, calm, big and safe apartment in the heart of Sondrio. Perfect for bigger families or a group of two couples who like to join their privacy in separate rooms. The terrace is so awesome! Since you have a private garage, this is perfect for the car and bikestorage. Also dogs are very much welcome. However, the host is the most friendly person you can imagine. We loved the cookies!! was such a pleasure to stay, we felt very much welcomed. Thanks

Great place to stay

The host Elena greeted us with tasty biscuits and gave us traditional olive bread later on. Her apartament is very cozy and a lot of space, right in the center of Sondrio, very close to the train station. The host was very helpful and easy to communicate. Like your family member. On the balcony we enjoyed meals and an amazing view of the mountains. We rented bicycles for a couple of days and we were allowed to put them in the garage. Many different beautiful plants in front of the apartment and Elena's cat comes as well to the quests to say hello. You feel like at home.

Sentirsi coccolati a Sondrio: tranquillità e comodità

Alloggio silenzioso, confortevole, pulito, con uno splendido terrazzo. La proprietaria, gentile e disponibile, mi ha fatta sentire accolta. Apprezzata la presenza di qualche prodotto per la colazione. Lo consiglierei anche per ragazze che viaggiano da sole: mi sono sentita al sicuro nel cortile interno e la vicinanza alla proprietaria.

Ho soggiornato alla Casina con il mio fidanzato per 3 giorni e non potevamo chiedere di meglio anzi la nostra esperienza è andata oltre alle nostre aspettative. La casa è dotata di tutto e la proprietaria Elena è super gentile e e disponibile! La casa è oltretutto in una posizione ottima a pochi passi da centro e da tutto il necessario!

Un soggiorno che fa bene al cuore

La "casina di Sondrio" è proprio le casina che si vorrebbe trovare per sentirsi come a casa. Dotata di ogni confort e sapientemente organizzata dalla proprietaria, la signora Elena che accoglie gli ospiti con estrema cura e gentilezza, rispecchiando l'eleganza della casa. È provvista di ogni cosa per rendere la vacanza super piacevole. A due passi dal centro con addirittura garage annesso. Pulizia ottima, organizzazione della cucina impeccabile dotata minuziosamente di qualsiasi cosa occorra, letti comodissimi, bagno pratico e carinissimo. Per non parlare del terrazzo che fa veramente capire di stare in vacanza! È stato un vero piacere soggiornarvi. Torneremo senz'altro. Consigliatissima è dire poco.
