A beautiful little cottage in a perfect location to switch off and relax. Lots of lovely walks to go on with the dogs, we will definitely be back soon.

It’s a beautiful cottage, well looked after, bright and airy. It has everything you need for a lovely break away. The hot tub is fab and in a perfect setting. Nothing is too much trouble for the hosts, I couldn’t have spoken with a nicer lady.

There is nothing not to like about the place.

We've just returned home from 8 nights at Mossdale Cottage with our two dogs - what an incredible time we have had! The cottage is absolutely perfect from the stunning decor to the cosy sofas beside the log stove to the soothing hot tub in the enclosed garden - we could not have asked for more. It is perfectly equipped to ensure that you have everything you need regardless of the length of your stay, and the owners go above and beyond to ensure you're completely catered for. The beds are ridiculously comfy to provide the best night sleep after busy days out. If you're a hiker, this is the perfect place for you as you're right in the middle of many amazing walks around Loch or even Ayrshire Coast treks. Don't worry about being muddy as the cottage has a perfect boot room/utility area where you can strip off and chuck everything in the washing machine meaning you don't drag mud through the house. Plus, there's an outdoor hose for showering off muddy pups in the rear garden. Evenings spent in the hot tub stargazing are amazing as the sky is so dark and clear - especially when you turn the outdoor lights off! On top of this, early mornings watching the sunrise over Mossdale Hill is the best way to start the day. Truly, we cannot recommend Mossdale Cottage enough - the best staycation we've had and we will certainly be returning!
