We stayed at Oyster Marris l and had a truly wonderful experience. The atmosphere was so peaceful, surrounded by nature and the beautiful sound of birds singing. It was a quiet, tranquil location, perfect for relaxing and unwinding.
Our host organised everything for us, making our stay completely stress-free. We enjoyed both breakfast and dinner every day, and every meal was delicious, freshly prepared using local ingredients.
He also took us to Thiruvananthapuram and the Thiruvallam Parasurama Temple, where we performed our pooja. It was a memorable and spiritually enriching experience.
The house itself was beautifully maintained and surrounded by medicinal plants and colourful flowers, creating a refreshing and healing environment. It was clear that every part of the property was cared for with great attention and personal dedication.
Before we left, my son wanted to bring some authentic forest honey back to Ireland. Our host kindly sourced genuine forest honey directly from the forest and even arranged for it to be couriered to our home , which was an incredibly thoughtful gesture.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are grateful for the warm hospitality, delicious food, peaceful surroundings, and exceptional care we received. We highly recommend Oyster Marris to anyone looking for an authentic, relaxing, and memorable stay.

Is not that don’t like but like a suggestion - a small table on the common terrace, up (beautiful one) or down in the garden a small sitting area.

Best Homestay experience in Thiruvananthapuram Wonderful homely ambience and awesome home cooked food Aswathy hosts an amazing cook We really enjoyed some cooking experience with Aswathy too. Hosts arranged taxi for local sight seeing and airport pickup Driver Suresh was such a wonderful person One of the best home stay experiences we had with Oyster Marris
We definitely come again and highly recommend
All the major attractions are near Kovalam , Temples are just 15 minutes drive only
