Beachfront Luxury Villa Santa Barbara

The location is unbeatable, only a few steps from Kalo Livadi beach which I think is by far the best beach of Mykonos. The property photos are very accurate, the sea view from the villa is simply gorgeous. The villa itself is huge, fully equipped and nicely done. There is a large private infinity pool and a hot jacuzzi which I simply loved ! I also liked the comfortable air conditioned bedrooms and the fact that they all had fantastic sea views. In the evening, we had plenty of activities, watching free streaming movies or playing video games on large tv screen with my family, playing table tennis, basketball or even board games, this villa has it all. There are speakers inside out and we had our personal playlists playing day and night. I really enjoyed the complete privacy of this villa which gave me the freedom to have fun, dine in style with private chef, have a private massage by the pool, all by myself, I felt like a prince. The host was discreet and lovely, always standby to find the best umbrellas and best tables in town. He took us to the nearby village which is only 5 mins away where there are 3 supermarkets, tavernas and many bars where we bought plenty of groceries. Mykonos town was only 15 mins drive by taxi which was always available on short notice. The care taker kept the villa continuously clean and gave us plenty of towels. This is a sublime villa on an amazing island with real value for money and I'm definitely looking forward returning next year for a much longer stay if my work allows me to.

The sea temperature in Kalo Livadi beach was a bit cold during June (around 20 degrees C) but next year I will come in August and I was told that it gets much warmer. I also found the beach umbrellas on the left side of the beach (in front of the famous beach restaurant) a little bit on the expensive side, although I really enjoyed beautiful people watching and this beach, apart from being very clean and amazing, it has definitely a lot of spectacle and many international celebrities. Expensive but on the other hand I found the service exceptional and the food delicious. Next year I will be trying the second beach bar and restaurant which is located in the middle of the beach which I heard it is much cheaper with younger crowds !
