Villa Konak - Tradational Greek Villa In Fethiye Kayakoy

Really great villa with nice clean pool, private gardens, very spacious house, good aircon etc. Nearby village (25 min walk) has lots of restaurants, from basic to upmarket. Local taxi service (thanks Orhan Simsek) was excellent; prompt and cheap, so not having a hire car wasn't an issue. No close neighbours so good and private, no noise issues etc.

Nowhere near the expected location - not 600metres to Fethiye marina - more like 6km. Fortunately, taxi service good, so not a major issue. Had to request a few extra sheets, towels etc, and they were delivered next day, but would have been good to have already. Also need to replace bulbs in hall, landing etc. Biggest thing was we had an issue with a couple of maggots dropping from the timber clad ceiling into my sleeping son in one bedroom (!) - not good as my kids then refused to sleep in the bedrooms!
