A great day in vlore albania

I had a great stay at Hotel Elmar in Vlore. The location on the Lungomare is excellent, right by the sea, with beautiful views and easy access to the promenade. The room was clean, modern, and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Everything was well organized and the overall experience was very relaxing. Great value for money. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

The view, the size of the room, the bathroom light, the location, the polite staff and especially the price!! made my stay at El Mar Hotel very enjoyable. It's a total recommendation for price-performance-ratio in Vlora! 😍

Worst hotel

Location

Staff they dont know anything every time you asked something, never answered your booking question, toilet smell bad al the days of our stay, i suffered for having a stomachache and cannot sleep during the night because of the foul odor coming inside the bathroom,, the guest above us moving their furniture around 12 midnight until 5 am and i even ask a help for the receptionist to solve the issue and he said he dont know. Always no one at the reception even i rung the bell.

I would recommend it

Breakfast was good. Room was quite spacious. Rooms have Netflix and some cable. Air-conditioning is not noisy and at low setting you can sleep with it on at night. Staff is very friendly.

The quality of the towels. Beach towels are rather flimsy. Shower towels were clean but had some unpleasant smell when wet.

Seemed very clean and the location is central and there is parking included, which can be hard to find mid city.

Warning: The hotel is located right above several bars that according to hotel management are supposed to stop the music at 23, but dont. The first day we came we reported that the window did not close properly, but it was not handed on to management. The open window+the music from bars made it impossible to sleep well. Ontop of this, the madresses are not very good and aircon seemed to lack cleaning. When we reported this the next day we where not greeted with an apology, but rather an attitude of “how could you expect anything else when booking on this street”. Might be so, but it was not advertised anywhere, so now we are advertising it here. The window was fixed on day two, but did not make the sound that much better.

My place to stay for a short trip in Vlora.

Great location, big rooms, new, clean and lovely staff.

Not very comfortable if you have a big suitcase because no elevator and just stairs. It’s good if the staff can help, as they already did but still lots of effort. Much better to have carry ons or small bags. Other than that is a very nice place.

I booked this hotel for a group of my friends, and they absolutely loved their stay! The beachfront location was perfect—they couldn’t stop raving about the gorgeous views and how relaxing it was to wake up to the sound of the waves. They told me the rooms were clean, spacious, and stylish, with windows that offered incredible sea views. The staff went above and beyond to make their stay enjoyable, and everything was top-notch. They especially enjoyed the breakfast selection. It turned out to be the perfect place for them to unwind and spend quality time together. I’m so happy I chose this place for them—definitely recommend it to anyone looking to book a special getaway for friends or family!

Great location. Clean room. Don’t expect a 4 star as per booking.com but definitely a nice place to stay.

The room was big and accommodating for a family of 5. The location is brilliant and there are so many places to eat once you step out of the hotel. Staff are friendly. Room decor good and very modern with usb charge points.

Unfortunately there was an odd smell from the room we stayed in which was worse without the air con on. Even with the air con the smell wouldn’t go away. A set of clothing items were there from the previous family and it wasn’t cleared. We weren’t told to ask reception for tea coffee to make in the room and this wasn’t available in the room. Booking.com rates the hotel as 4 star but hotel will state that it is a 3 star and it most definitely meets the 3 star and maybe a little more.

Awesome stay at El Mar

Boutique Hotel with a clean and very modern room. Friendly staff at the desk. Definitely stay here if visiting Vlore.

Parking took some time to find. Probably needs a better sign. Also, it would help if the parking attendite had an El Mar shirt or something. It seemed like a random guy sitting on a chair, lol 😀. This wouldn't stop me from coming again, but it would make the experience much better for all.

Lovely staff at this well located, beach front hotel with good size rooms.

Great location, reception staff, good size room with comfy bed. OK buffet breakfast. One morning had custom made which was great! Free access to beach loungers, parasols and towels.

Bar around the corner blaring out loud music till late at night. The hotel have requested it be addressed ... Loo seat badly fitted. Damp in the bedroom had been touched up and needed decorating.

Cash only, beware before you book as they seem to only take cash when we stayed in May/23. Beach across the road is not the best. Water is not transparent at all and sand is dark. There's better beaches 10 mins away by car. Breakfast is just Bacon Sausages omelette and eggs, quite limited selection but does the job.

Clean hotel - bad restaurant

Ami the receptionist is polite & has good communication skills. She kept us well informed & assist us to inquire for our next week's trip to Theth. The room is clean & modern.

I understand that the hotel collaborates with Elmar restaurant. The restaurant waiter is very rude. The service is bad, waiters behaves as if we are eating for free while they are the customers that smokes non stop, speaks loudly look at us with no respect. Bad attitude! I would not eat at this restaurant even if they offer 80% discount.

Truly the best hotel in Albania!!! All the staffs were extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful, especially the two girls who helped us to have the best vacation ever. Will definitely go back and would highly recommend it to anyone who plans to visit Vlorë.
