Poor communication - details advised earliest check-in was 5pm, meaning that when we arrived, the office was closed. Apartment freezing cold on arrival with no heating and no power! No instructions, resulting in us triggering the security alarm whilst looking for it!! Contact number not answered for 2 hours! Beds not made - simply sheets and pillow cases left on bare mattresses We had to search for duvets and duvet covers hidden away in cupboards! Disgusting bath mats No towels - you actually do need to pre-book these, but as this is unusual, a polite reminder would have been helpful. Once we did get the heating on, it didn’t work upstairs. Air con units very noisy outside bedrooms Kitchen is well-equipped but all the cupboards are jam-packed with stuff with no room for storing food. Once we were actually able to speak with staff the next day, they were very helpful and apologetic, provided electric heaters and offered us a late checkout as compensation (normal check out 10am - extendable for a hefty fee!) However, the fact remains that, as this was a special occasion, we had gone way over our normal budget and booked the apartment in November for a family gathering! But on arrival, it was as if they weren’t even expecting us! We have been travelling for around 10 months and this was the most expensive and by far the worst experience!
