Ecoscape Jamaica - Cottages by the river

Beautiful accommodation, very friendly host and staff. Beautiful grounds, everything in close distance. Bbq and fire pit were an awsome addition. Water fall and river are private and beautiful . I stayed here with my 12 year old daughter, both felt very safe, comfortable and private, for 2 females that is a great feeling. Totally recommend to anyone wanting to experience a relaxing retreat with all mod cons. Country but without the stress.

The other guests handwashing their dirty clothes/laundry in the river/waterfall with the bucket used to clean the floors from inside the bathroom. filling the nstural water with suds and obviously dirty laundry water. Even after confronting them they continued ......totally gross, selfish, down right rude and entitled. 3 seperate times we went to the water spot on the sameday and each time full of soap bubbles and obviously dirty water from said guests 😒 nothing to do with the host or the accommodation.....however I would recommend that the host puts up signs and tells guests not to wash dirty boxershorts and laundry in the private water that other guests have paid a decent price to experience the clean, crispy waterfalls and nature, not to sit in others dirty soapy laundry water.

This experience was the definition of serenity and zen! It’s peaceful, clean, the little details are so perfect and the host is so amazing, excellent communication and provides an exceptional level of comfort… I can’t wait to visit again!

Environment was stunning! Loved going to the local rivers with Dan and the cottage was sweet.

The cottage was damp and it smelled it unfortunately. Was impossible for me to access their river which was the reason we booked the property, there was just too much mud and steep incline, but my partner did and said it was magical! A few well placed steps and some rope would go a long way at making sure it’s accessible in all weathers ☺️

it’s absolutely beautiful there like paradise inside and outside very rural very natural

unfortunately there wasnt hot water and the drainage wasn’t too good
