The location of the apartment is up at an elevation making it quiet, scenic and beautiful. You can walk down some steps to the street and then walk 10 minutes to the village. The village of Sesimbra is a truly authentic traditional Portuguese fishing village. Everything is there for your holiday enjoyment - the best fish restaurants in the world!
The walk to the village was on the road without a sidewalk or pavement so just be a little careful walking back at night.

The apartment is really nice! The balcony was AMAZING. Pictures don't do it justice. Carlos was incredibly accommodating and hospitable; he made us feel very welcome. I appreciated the coffee machine (and pods), oil, salt, etc for cooking. The apartment was very clean and modern. I would recommend this apartment to anyone staying in the area.
The walk to the beach was not the best walk in the world. Definitely manageable but I would recommend a car if you are over 40 or have children. On the plus side, it definitely keeps you fit :)
