Disappointing

We were really disappointed with our stay. The bed sheets were not clean as there was multiple hairs in the bed, which immediately made the place feel unclean. Also noticed cobwebs throughout the property suggesting it hadn’t been properly cleaned or checked beforehand. Outside, one of the lights wasn’t working on the decking, which made the patio area feel dark when using the hobtub. The WiFi kept cutting out and repeatedly turned the TV off, making it impossible to watch anything without constant interruptions. Also one morning it was freezing in the bedroom downstairs as you couldn’t adjust the temperature throughout the property. Overall, the property needs much better attention, really disappointed and would not come back unfortunately for the price we paid.

Very relaxing and peaceful stay however there were issues that we wouldn’t expect at a premium price luxury property

The location was perfect very peaceful with stunning views The style of the property, the layout and decorative design was lovely Kitchen well equipped Bed good size and comfortable Nice big shower room Underfloor heating was lovely

The lack of attention to detail regarding the cleanliness of the property. Very large cobwebs on all the velux windows particularly above the hob and food preparation surface. Had to wipe down kitchen surfaces on arrival as crumbs and stains left. The hot tub was hot however orange scum around the waterline and dirt / grit in the bottom of the tub so didn’t use it :-( Woke up first morning to no hot water or heating due to low water pressure on the boiler so husband had to top up, don’t expect to have to do this at a luxury property Ventilation issue in bathroom extraction fan not working so mould on ceiling and floor and smelt damp on arrival again not something you expect at a premium priced property

Hot tub, view, large bed, kitchen well stocked, oven, dishwasher and lockbox

Spiders/cobwebs, damp in the bathroom, heating insufficient in the bedroom, headroom (seating area, cooking area and stairs) , heating locked and no blankets or outside cushions for sitting down.

Beautiful property, would stay again!

Beautiful property. The location is quiet and very safe. The bed itself was very comfortable and the property is very cosy with heated flooring. The hot tub was great. Easy to gain access to the property, with no issues checking in. Plenty of parking is available. All utensils to cook are available and cleaning equipment to wash dishes etc. We loved the stay, and think it would be great if there were some little milk sachets provided, there is tea, coffee, sugar, and cereal available but no milk sachets. The pillows on the bed were a bit hard for me but everyone is different. Some lights out on the decking may benefit as it is quite dark during the night in the hot tub and difficult to see. Other than that it was great and would stay again! 😃

Lovely lodge, very clean. Shower was great, hot tub was perfect. Great little place for a short break.

Very nice property, only a slight critique. The outdoor lighting was pretty but still felt quite dark out. Plenty of lighting options for inside though which was great.

Cabin not as quiet as advertised and hot tub not cleaned at all during our stay. Guests in other cabins allowing their dogs to poo outside our lodge and not picking up up.

Superb

Hi we had a lovely time at your property. It was clean warm and cosy and the views were amazing. There was one problem though. The hot tub was going off and on all the time we were there. Saying filter blocked. We rang the number provided and left a message in the hope someone would come up and have a look at it, but we heard nothing back. This did disappoint me as this was my first time in a hot tub and I was really looking forward to it. Also there needs to be a little fence or something at front of hot tub as house opposite could see right over which made us feel a little uncomfortable. As I said everything else was amazing. You ve done an amazing job there. Would love to return 😊

Amazing property with private outdoor area including BBQ and hot tub. Great facilities inside of open lounge/kitchen and bathroom etc. If you want a countryside escape with stunning views, this certainly is the place to book. Easy to access and great family run place.
