The bed is very comfortable, the bathroom is spacious and the water pressure is great, the AC works well, the place feels secure (there is a big sliding gate with a camera above it to close the property). The location is perfect, it's right next to a couple of delicious and affordable restaurants (Hanasta, SMJ, Surya..). The owner is very helpful and gave us great advice to enjoy our time in Banyuwangi. The wifi works very well also.
There was a weird strong lingering smell in the room for the three nights we spent there.

We only stayed one night to go to the Ijen. The room had everything we needed and there are plenty of nice restaurants in the area. If you are looking for a place to stay just to go to mount Ijen, we can recommend this Homestay. Also the owner was very nice and speaks good English.
The AC is really loud and it could have been a bit cleaner, but it still was totally okay.

An amazing family that went above and beyond to make me feel like I was actually one of the family. I was given authentic Javanese food (made and produced by them) and stayed in a comfortable bed. The place was clean and homey. I made a real connection with the family. I came as a customer and left as a friend. Thank you!
