House of the Rising Sun

Als je voor rust gaat, ben je hier helemaal op je plek. Heerlijke accommodatie om lekker te genieten van een zwembad, stilte en buitenleven.

De weg naar boven is een uitdaging. Weet niet of iedereen daar zich comfortabel bij voelt. De villa is mooi maar hier en daar wat verouderd. Niet alle slaapkamers hebben airco, toiletpapier doorspoelen mag niet, koffiezetapparaat werkt soms wel soms niet, water buitendouche doet het soms wel soms niet, etc. Het valt op zich allemaal wel mee, maar als je voor echte luxe gaat moet je hier rekening mee houden. Wij hebben ons overigens prima gered en heerlijke tijd gehad. Daarnaast is het zwembad volledig 240cm diep en kun je dus nergens staan.

Clean spacious property with beautiful outdoor spaces to enjoy the sun. We had everything we needed at the property, including an iron, bottle openers, a drying rack for clothes. You name it, we had it. Extra fridge freezer to store additional items like drinks. The host was really accommodating and friendly.

Please note that the drive from the bottom of the mountain to the property, takes roughly 20-25 minutes and for anyone who is a weary driver, this might not be the place for you. Once you arrive it is very peaceful with beautiful views, but the roads up are steep, winding and bumpy. The pool is lovely and large with great seating areas around it, but bear in mind, there is no shallow end.
