Lavender House Apartments Limehouse Docklands

Jeeny's apartment was great, everything was immaculate...it was unfortunate we went just after the heart wate which impact us a bit. Otherwose it was 10 out of 10

Very well located, just 5 min walk to the Limehouse DLR. Two stops to bank station and two stops to Canary wharf. Grocery shop on the street under the apartment and lovely chipper next door.

Beds are a little on the soft side for us. The apartment is very very warm on hot days. But lots of fans were provided. Handles on windows would benefit from fixing.

We liked the location. Good location for public transport and lessons to get to the center.

-Great location, only 2 stops from the City Center. Supermarket and restaurants nearby -Toiletries, towels etc. were provided -The apartment was clean, spacious and modern -Flexible check-in and check-out

-The ventilation system was noisy (day and night) and brought cooking smells from other apartments into the bedroom -The dishwasher wasn't working properly, it was washing with cold water. Not very hygienic. We were not told about this, but found out ourselves. When we contacted the owner about this, she seemed to know about the problem. We were told they were trying to book a repair engineer, but did not want to disturb our stay. Basically putting the problem on us. It should have been fixed prior to our arrival. We had to wash the dishes by hand for the rest of our stay. -The matrasses on the bed were too thin. We could feel the springs in our back when we were lying on them, which was not very comfortable and made it hard to sleep, especially in combination with the noisy ventilation system. -The keys were in a locked box outside near a building. When we checked out, we had to put the keys back into the box, but it smelled strongly of urine, as if someone (or a dog) had peed over the box. That was pretty disgusting.
