Strefi Hill Suites

It has everything you need for a normal stay honestly. I couldn't ask for more. It has good AC, it was spotless clean, nice balcony, nice view, roof terrace, and all the facilities and things that you would need in an apartment. The only thing that I can poke at is that the shower head kept falling apart if you used too much pressure when showering, but it's just a small detail and shouldn't stop you from booking this place. All in all, highly recommend the place, the price to quality ratio is just too good.

The apartment was spacious and very clean. All the necessities were available and some luxuries to. The apartment had excellent shutter blinds which made the place dark and easy to sleep in. A great stay for couples.

There was some miscommunication around complimentary aperols on the rooftop terrace in the welcoming message from the host. This info was actually about another property the host/company has.

Location and big shower

The location is great, in a lively neighbourhood, not too far from the city centre. There are also quite a few nice restaurants, coffee places, and bars nearby.

As soon as we got into the flat (in late December on a cold night), we realised it was cold, and there was no hot water. We called the owner, but she did not pick up any of our multiple calls. We had to contact Booking.com to make sure they would engage with us (or we would ask for a refund and change the hotel!). When she did, it was only via text, and she never called us. We were asked to stay in the flat for 2 hours to wait for the caretaker for a temporary fix. Not ideal (I am trying not to be rude) when one is on holiday. The caretaker told us that the boiler had had problems before and that a gas engineer was needed to resolve them and they would come the day after. Also, to temporarily provide us with heating and hot water, the caretaker had to make a bit of a mess, spilling water on the kitchen/living room floor and in the bathroom. The day after, the owner gave us updates on whether a permanent fix had been found, only after I texted her several times (at first, she didn't even seem to be aware that the gas engineer was coming). The bedroom and the kitchen were not particularly clean (and customers are asked to clean dishes, so I am not surprised!). Also, the mattress was very uncomfortable; too thin, fluffly, and uneven. The walls are not soundproof, and we could hear the neighbours and the water flowing during showers/when flushing. Despite staying 3 nights, we were given only 4 Nespresso capsules (for 2 people), and no one ever came to empty the trash (or the basket with the toilet paper) or change towels! I was not impressed.
