I call this a Frankenstein house, bit it works. It's big enough for 4 people, pool and outside area were amazing and the view is beautiful. Owner's enthusiasm is on a top level; some of the features in the house can't be found in 5 star hotels.
It's an old house with a lot of issues unfortunately; some areas like kitchen looked worn out and not too clean. Lack of basics like kitchen paper were not impressive. Fridge was very noisy and AC was so loud that we couldn't use during night.

The villa was very clean, nice and cool and we loved the pool and jacuzzi.
The host couldn't do enough for us, communication from booking to leaving the villa was exceptional.
Location was quiet, 10 mins from the airport, you need a car to get about but only 25 mins to Costa tequise or playa blanca, or 10 mins to peurto del carmen .great central location if you want to see the island.
The Bathroon was very small and not ideal for anyone with physical challenges, it would not put me off returning as the rest of the villa makes up for it.

depending where you want to go: if you go to the volcano national park, the location is good. If it is the main city and beaches, then it is bit far. Anyway, you will need a car. And there are private parking spaces in the yard. Not much choices of grocery shopping nearby (there is a small super market next door, but quite limited choices).
