Exceptional Stay!

This apartment is truly exceptional - clean, beautifully decorated, comfortable bed, big bathroom, and has everything for a cosy and comfortable stay, including a fridge stocked with water and soft drinks. Check-in was easy and straightforward. Michel, the host, is friendly, and even though he can't speak much English, he was able to communicate with us the basic instructions. He has also prepared a binder with information in English. Parking was free on the street and we managed to get a spot in front of the house when we arrived at 5.30 pm. Location wise, it is 15 mins walk to the beach and 3 mins walk to the bus stop where you can take the free city buses. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are back in Dunkerque.

Very relaxing, close to the beach and just what we neededd.

Lovely apartment, very clean, tidy and met all requirements. The bathroom was lovely and clean and had lovely fresh towels. Also had a nice arrival package in the fridge, coffee available. The layout was exceptional and the host Michel was brilliant.

Exceptional

Very nice appartement, includes everything you might need for a stay with two persons. The host is super friendly and is always helpful. Free parking is possible in the street, and we always got a parking space directly in front of the building. The street is very quiet, you wake up to the sound of seagulls.

The location might be not optimal if you want to visit only the beach (plage malo les bains is 10-15min away), but if you want to visit also the parts of dunkirk, you will be in a perfect location.

Perfect.

We arranged a arrival time and Michel was there to show us in and introduce us to the facilities. Michel showed us around the accommodation pointing out the very helpful information folder. You will not need to bring towels as they were provided. The kitchen is well stocked with all you need too. He explained how far the seafront was and how to dispose of waste, recycling and so on, which was a two minute walk away. It is a very quiet location away from the main town centre, which is about 15 minute drive, or you could use the free bus service of Dunkerque. Parking is residential and free, you may not always get next to "Alice", but you will find a place to park. There are not too many restaurants nearby, however we shopped at Carrefour Market which is a 5 minute drive, has on site eateries and provides all need, and very good bargains, especially on Vin de France!

There is nothing to dislike. Great host, lovely accommodation, good location, quiet but convenient to start exploring, if you stay in Dunkerque stay here.

Perfect and exactly as described and shown in the pictures

everything xxxxx it was small but perfect. It was everything we wanted and more. a short walk to the beach, butcher and bakery down the road, supermarket down the road….. it was great please come here you will not regret it x

An absolute gem in Dunkirk!!!

The location of this property is fantastic for local high quality grocery shopping and Dunkirk city centre, both within walking distance. Free parking right outside the apartment in a very quiet and safe neighbourhood. The property is immaculate in every way. It is light and airy and very well designed and superbly well equipped. It has plenty of space for two people and is extremely comfortable. Michael is an excellent host, friendly and helpful and on hand if needed. There is plenty of information in the apartment too, recommending places to visit and places to eat.

Een ontdekkingsweekend bij mooi weer, in onbekend kustgebied juist over de grens.

Locatie dicht bij Place Europe en Place Turenne in Malo-Les-Bains, met gratis bussen naar Noord (Leffrinkhoeke) of Zuid ( Dunkerque). De mooie dijk en prachtig breed strand bij eb op 900m. De uitgesproken vriendelijkheid van de bevolking is zeer leuk. De omgeving heeft mooie duinen die veel toegankelijker zijn dan aan de Belgische kust.

Tout est parfait. L'appartement est d'une propreté irréprochable, très cosy, cocooning. Absolument tous les éléments sont réunis pour passer un merveilleux séjour. Merci beaucoup à Michel pour son accueil très sympathique, avec de petites attentions très appréciées, d'excellentes idées de sorties. L'endroit est très calme. La literie est d'excellente qualité. Rien ne manque, vous avez tout le nécessaire sur place. Très proche de la plage à pied environ 10 minutes. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir et vous pouvez y aller sans soucis , nous recommandons ++++++++

Idéal pour un séjour agréable

L'hôte est au petit soin pour vous et n'est pas avare de bons plans pour visiter la ville ou les bons restos dans les environs. L'appartement se situe à une distance raisonnable à pied du centre de Dunkerque (et pour les non sportifs, un arrêt de bus est très proche) et de la plage. L'appartement dispose de tout ce qui est nécessaire pour que vous passiez un agréable séjour.

Absolument rien à redire. Accueil chaleureux et amical de la part de notre hôte. Le logement est très bien situé, confortable, spacieux et calme, bien aménagé et bien équipé. Un seul regret : ne pas être restés plus longtemps.

De host is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. We genoten van een zonnige fijne 3-daagse!

Het was fijn om vroeger in de locatie te kunnen, bedankt Michel. Op de Plage Malo les Bains zijn veel restaurants en terrassen, voor ieder wat wils, wel reserveren. Aanrader we maakten een fietstocht naar Bergues en aten lekkere salades bij La Taverne Vauban ook reserveren.

Logeren in een "maison de charme" uit het Dunkerque van weleer.

-Zeer vriendelijke ontvangst, en er kan in de straat geparkeerd worden, en dit zonder parkeerschijf of ticket. De accommodatie ligt op de eerste etage en is ingericht in een zachte maritieme sfeer: het geheel is compact en gezellig en van alle gemakken voorzien. Je logeert in een rustig gedeelte van Malo-les-Bains, in een huis met historie. De lokale winkels van Malo zijn op wandelafstand, evenals enkele supermarkten. Een heerlijk plekje.

Excellent accueil, appartement conforme aux photos, très propre et confortable, les petites attentions sont très appréciables. Proche de la plage et stationnement aisé. On se sent rapidement à l'aise, le propriétaire donne de bons conseils, très bon rapport qualité/prix👍On recommande !
