Gulf Getaway

The location was convenient with beach access across the street. The place was clean with ample space. The problem we experienced was the sink in one of the bathrooms. The stopper was jammed shut and not fixed during our stay. The person who came out was able to drain the sink but couldn’t fix it. It filled up again and was unusable. The hose by the garage had a hole in it and constantly sprayed us in the face. Vacasa was aware of both of these items but did not fix them during our stay. This was disappointing and unacceptable.

My only comment negative was it was a second floor with 2 flights steps made a little difficult bringing up the luggage but that was it. Definitely not a deal breaker

Lovely stay at this condo over the new year. The condo is comfortable, spacious and felt like home. Facilities were good. Good kitchen facilities, where we wete able to cook meals with what was available. The location is excellent, quick easy walk to the beach and lots of amenities in walking distance. We really loved the area and the beach is beautiful, good for exploring other places such as Redington, St Pete's and Clearwater. Vacasa were easy to contact and checking in and out was smooth. Condo was clean and beds were comfortable. There are nice restaurants, coffee bars and places to have a nice drink all within walking distance. We throughly enjoyed our walks on the beach.

The building is a wooden structure and the noise of walking/talking could be heard by downstairs. We did not know this and have a very unpleasant welcome from the downstairs neighbours on our first morning after a long transatlantic flight. We had not had time to look at the rules for the accomdation and the telling off from downstairs was not friendly or welcoming. I have a 2 year old daughter and the accommodation looked child friendly but there is strictly no running and to stop a toddler from running is very difficult as many parents would appreciate even a well behaved one. I think there should be some warning that the condo is top floor and noise needs to be kept to a minimum. We were mindful of this for the rest of the holiday but I had to constantly tell my child to tip toe when she was just excited or playful. The pool was also cold throughout our stay, we were told by different guests it was warm a few days before but never warmed up during our stay

Location was perfect, facilities were very good, extremely comfortable and clean.
