Lovely for a short stay or a weekend away with the girls. Location was excellent

It was clean and tidy. Staff were all lovely and location was excellent.

Room was a bit cold, Door into bathroom gave trouble (sliding door maybe not the best idea) however the issue was dealt with very quickly. Also food was lovely but it was cold when it arrived to the table, same issue at breakfast.

Food in Sophie’s for dinner and breakfast not great, temperature of food cold, breakfast and hot drinks cold and was told it was because I was sitting beside a window so they go cold fast. Lighting in room terrible, room also very cold.

Great stay here for a family wedding.

Everything was always clean, nice layout, had a gym, several places to eat and get beverages. Rooms spacious and super comfy beds and linens and a great shower!!

Very clean, picturesque hotel with great amenities, and walkable to everywhere!

Very clean, picturesque hotel in a in a great spot that was removed from the hustle of the main touristy areas, while still being super walkable and safe for two young women. Wifi was great, coffee downstairs was awesome, and a lot of amenities to try out. The staff was super friendly and let us leave are bags before we were able to check in and all day when we were checking out so that we didnt have to carry them around with us all day.

The room was tiny. I ordered a super room and it didn’t feel super for what I paid, the bed was comfortable but it was two single beds pushed together.

really good stay , top hotel , great location . excellent facilities .

this is the second time we've stayed at the Dean. its a good location about 5 minutes from Eyre Square and quieter for weekend stays . given some of the other hotels which are loud at night into the small hours. the hotel is lovely .very clean . the house keeping staff are friendly are friendly and courteous .no complaints at all about the room very likely to stay again . one of the top two hotels in Galway City Centre

arrived to check in and only one person was on the desk . about 3-4 couples came up and complained about non working room card keys so had to wait additional time to check in .I've worked in service so I can understand these things happen but the lady at the desk seem somewhat unapologetic about it . given the hotel is €200+ , per night I would have expected "a hey sorry about the delay etc" . in all honestly ill stay again but its the little things that matter

Dave at the front desk was fantastic! Great suggestions. Wish we could have stayed longer. If you book here, you should definitely add breakfast and make time for the pool!

Basic! Tiny rooms. No iron or ironing board. No wardrobes. Door is sliding so offers no privacy for the bathroom. Swimming pool was tiny and overlooked by a corridor to the bedrooms…so weird.

Great place to stay with friendly staff and good amenities

Aesthetically pleasing hotel and room, friendly staff, great amenities e.g. pool, class bars, short walk into Latin quarter, minimal noise when in room, party / fun atomosphere around the hotel (guests and staff), free shot on check-in, adult only need not say more!!!

Bed was super uncomfortable, robes were only available on request and in short supply making trip to the pool a bit arkward, lack of car parking (although supplemental rate offered at local car park ~5min walk; a reserved set down/unloading bay would reduce the burden of transporting suitcases from car park imo)

How quirky the style of the hotel was! Really cool vibe there!

Our bed was two single beds together so there was a gap between them and the duvet was zipped together to form a bigger one. Overall this made our sleep awkward and a bit uncomfortable. Unfortunately the shampoo and conditioner was very watered down. Did not make my hair feel good.

Fabulous staff and a great stay

The staff were absolutely incredible.. it was genuinely like a 5 star experience. From front of house to the gym, they greeted me by name and were just so so helpful. Really made my stay. Loved the gym and the pool, and the facilities overall are wonderful

Exceptional Hotel in the Heart of Galway.

A modern hotel with a central location. Great facilities and comfortable bed, a room with a view. We enjoyed the heated pool and sauna. Fabulous dinner at Sophies Restaurant. I highly recommend this exceptional hotel.

Paid for the room no bother, there was a mini bar in the room with drinks and food etc. there was no information from the hotel staff about you have to pay extra to use the items in the mini bar//fridge. Tv is broken in the room and no iron board

Room was next to the staff room. Constant noise from door opening/closing throughout the day. Thought it was someone having bowel issues on the toilet for a long time at first. Really difficult to ignore and rest. Thankfully it stops late night.

I was only staying one night.

Poor valve for money. No instructions for air con. TV had poor reception. Noise from function outside till 11pm on a Sunday felt like it was in the room with us.

Loved my stay here

I loved my stay at the Dean Galway. Best hotel I have been to in a while, at a great price. Lovely rooms with high ceilings. Friendly staff. Great atmosphere.

I am a UK size 8 - 10 but the dressing gown provided was very small on me. I imagine most people wouldn't fit the dressing gowns, and I think the Dean should provide bigger ones to fit all guests.
