The pool and garden area were lovely The area is extremely quiet which won't suit everyone as you couldn't enjoy a drink and chat on the patio past 11pm without the neighbor telling you off!

Arrival: Having stayed in properties abroad before we were expecting the basics but this was a little extreme and didn't feel like a home from home. We arrived very late at 11.30pm and as there are no shops open, didn't have any water and were given one toilet roll to share between 2 bathrooms before we bought our own and no hand soap. The towels and sheets for the bed had been left in a bag on the table and so the beds weren't made. We didn't even bother using the sheets and so were charged for not even using them. Location: The property is in the middle of nowhere - there is a beach down an extremely steep hill (not ideal for limited or no mobility) and there are 3 restaurants/bars and one beach bar. There is a small shack on the beach for snacks but it is very expensive! We did have a really lovely meal at the Restaurante Sybius and highly recommend this place. We also loved the Can Laury Marina bar. You definitely need a car to get around - there weren't any taxi numbers left in the villa so we had to source this. We tried to use Uber/Bolt but you need to walk down the hill to the restaurants to get one but even then it was a struggle - we ended up asking a restaurant to book us one. The Villa: - The wifi doesn't work at all. - We were advised to leave the key in a postbox but there isn't one so we left it under a mat which we didn't like - The upstairs bathroom only has a shower head and not a proper shower - one proper shower between 8 is tricky! - No air con - just 2 fans (wouldn't be ideal in the height of summer) - The BBQ takes ages to cook and not worth the wait It felt as though everything had been wiped out from the previous stay. As there wasn't any dishwashing soap, you question if the dishes are actually clean from the previous stay.
