Self catering accommodation

In my challet I had no wifi ,No bath towels were provided till we stayed. No clothes dryer,no iron,no hair dryer.No cleaner,no spare bin bags.No warning that we should be aware of monkeys. The 1 day we left the lounge window a bit open and bread was on tge counter and when we came back the bread was all over the floor and we saw the monkeys on the trees

The beach was easily accessible and felt safe. The outside area was nice. The living room was spacious.

The bedding was old and tattered and smelled like my grandparents house, like a smokey tabacco smell. The pillows were lumpy and old. The bed sheets were not clean, I found hair under the pillows on the bed sheet. It was so disgusting 🤮. I know the vibe of the room is retro but the bedding doesn't have to be from last century. There were no extra blankets, luckily I looked at previous reviews which suggested that we bring our own blankets. I brought my own heater as well. The shower floor was dusty and dirty. There were no cleaning products to wash your dishes, so we had to purchase dishwashing liquid, dishcloths and kitchen wipes. So basically, if you want a good stay, bring your own bedding, kitchen cleaning products, heating in winter and purchase extra data as there is no wifi... it's like you have to bring your whole house to stay comfortable. To top it off, when you are paying they ask for R250 for cleaning. They don't add this to the initial price but sneakily add it on when you are agreeing to pay. So you are paying to clean the room for the next person but the cleaning was not up to standard when my family was staying there. The kiddies 'heated pool' was luke warm almost cold. So if you plan to stay in this particular room (104), please plan ahead and prepare yourself. I'm not sure about the rest of the rooms in this resort but this one was not up to standard.
