I liked the location and quiet surroundings

The rooms in the rooms need light The manager of the staff is rude and discriminating and falsely accused me and my friends for being loud The place is nice, but because of him I will not stay ever again

Would love to come back again

Absolutely loved our stay here, the rooms and especially the bathrooms are beautiful and kept so clean by the brilliant staff, they honestly can’t do enough to help you. It’s in a good location near all that Canggu has to offer but ideally you’d still need a bike as the path isn’t great, which is easily done.

Couldn't be better

Lovely stay due to the comfortable room, good location and friendly staff. Everything was clean, the AC worked great, the bed was comfortable and there was no outside noise. The pool was nice, calm, and large enough to do some swimming. The staff was friendly, made-up the room daily and arranged a rental scooter for us which was very easy.

A hidden gem with beautiful grounds

A hotel with beautiful grounds and lovely cabins. The cleanliness of the room is high and the staff very friendly. The room was turned over every day to a beautiful standard. Would definitely stay again.

Be aware that motorcycles from the road can be easily heard, despite the property itself being in quiet location. However, this is likely true for all properties in Canggu as the traffic there as a whole is extremely busy.

Bajalo it’s definitely one of the best cottages I’ve been in my life! Staff was super friendly and attentive Room spotless clean every single day Excellent location, in the heart of Canggu but at the same time away from the crowds and noise Open air bathroom, something I had never experienced before Also I loved the incense everywhere in the property. Such a unique, beautiful smell! Would definitely come back here again

The place itself is amazing (for me there’s something about a bathtub and a shower under the open sky), but it is topped with how amazing the staff is. I got sick during my stay while travelling alone, still felt like they’re looking after me

Enchanting design on the outskirts of Canggu. Clean and spotlessly maintained. Much thought has been given to creating a beautiful environment for guests.

Close to busy areas yet super quiet. friendly staffs always smiling and very helpful giving tour advices. The room is super clean and cozy. They have done excellent job maintaining the wooden furnitures and attention to details are superb! The garden and swimming pool also well maintained. Private outdoor bath is the highlight! With fully functional kitchen you can help yourself. scooter rental also available. Highly recommend!

Wonderful experience of Balinese culture in tranquil setting but in close proximity to restaurants bars and shopping and beaches Fery and his team went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and happy Beautiful fresh sweet coconut waters were delivered to my room daily for a very reasonable price Outside bathroom was a unique feature and my bathtub was filled with flower petals on my arrival

Authentic Balinese. The outdoor bathroom is a gem. Staff very friendly, helpful and meticulous in cleaning of room and grounds, gardens. Sometimes twice a day room cleaning, which I've never experienced elsewhere.. and then working in the gardens around villa, before sunrise!

The best choice for a peaceful stay in busy Canngu

If you want to visit Canggu but don’t want to stay in the busy road you must visit Bajolo cottage. The cottages are very lovely, clean and comfortable. The pool is beautiful, there are great sunbeds and they provide towels of you want. There is a shared kitchen area which is also useful. There is a lot of staff busy with perfecting the cottages or garden and you can always ask them for help. The location of Bajalo cottage is perfect if you want to have a quiet and peaceful stay, but also want to be in the main area in just a few minutes by foot.

Rooms are a bit too dark , extra light would be great Also I had so many geckos and birds in my outdoor bathroom , it was a bit scary especially in night / not a big deal , I’m just not get use to them I could hear my noisy neighbour every night , the guy was carrying 5 h conference call every day until 11 pm ! People should be more concerned about others

Very very happy, I’m well travelled and I haven’t ever stayed in somewhere better than Bajalo.

The property was incredibly well maintained, the staff are all SO friendly and helpful, they didn’t loiter or bother us in any way and were always maintaining the gardens. It was quiet and we hardly saw other guests but when we did they were also very friendly and respectful. Cabins were well sound proofed and the outdoor bathroom was amazing. I loved that there were scooters there to rent for 100,000 a day. The property was still SO close to everything but further enough away that we couldn’t hear the traffic or beeping. Became very familiar with the area very quickly. Surrounded by beautiful cafes and even a Pilates studio which was a huuuuge bonus. will 1000% be coming back to stay again.

Calm, peaceful, beautiul, authentic.

I loved the beautiful gardens, the way its surrounded by rice fields, the river at the back of the property and all the nooks and crannies to hang out in. The authenticity of the rooms were so special, from the locks to the woodwork. The vintage pieces around the property were also so cool, it felt like a real cultural experience to stay there. The staff were so lovely and caring as well. It really felt like home, very comfortable, peaceful and safe. Close to everything you need yet quiet and relaxing. Thank you Bajalo team and especially the two young men who work there and made my room so nice every day :)

It would be amazing if they had someone coming in to make breakfast in the kitchen which was the case in most of the other places I stayed. Having something like that would really take it to the next level and make it so much more relaxing as you'd not have to leave to eat first thing in the morning. Some umbrellas next to the pool would be a great addition, so you can have some shade while you sit there. A few people mentioned the light in the room not being great, but this could easily by fixed by turning the lights in the roof from pointing up to pointing down. There's also a dog who is so cute but is not friendly, so maybe putting a collar on him that says "Do Not Touch" would be good so guests know to not pat him.
