Spacious home

It was a clean unique private home with lots of room to feel comfortable in. Lots of nice artworks throughout the home along with a pool table. It was close proximity to a winery wedding event so it was perfect for us.

The heater was directly over the bed, and it was hot. We come from cold climate state so it was uncomfortable for us, so we had to open up windows, but for locals I am sure it would be comfortable.

Thought it was a Bed & Breakfast, turned out to be someone's house w/ shared bathroom & no privacy.

I thought we were staying in a bed and breakfast. What we were really staying in was someone's house, and the owner sleeps next door. The master room is great, but the other two rooms are shared bathroom with strangers with no privacy. You can hear everything in between the walls. Upon complaints with the owner, who likely is reasonable person, nothing was sorted out despite multiple follow throughs, eventually just ignored.

This property is a hidden gem in beautiful Temecula Wine Country!

Sommer Hus is a beautifully maintained and immaculately clean property with so many amenities. The owners were extremely friendly and welcomed us with a tour of the home. We stayed in the large master suite with private bath and beautiful sun porch where we enjoyed our morning coffee and watched the sunrise with hot air balloons rising across the field. We had full use of the living and great rooms (complete with a pool table & fireplace) as well as a fully stocked coffee/tea bar & a wraparound patio with bbq. We enjoyed total privacy during our 3 night stay. This place is truly a hidden gem! Thanks Dean & family!

Great location, room and patio, very responsive management.

Great shared patio with a beautiful view of the rolling hills, mountains and early morning hot air balloons rising. The Dannark room was roomy and has its own nice bathroom, refrigerator and a private screened porch overlooking the back as well. Appreciated the well stocked coffee bar in the main house.

The only thing was the sheets and towels were washed in a flowery scented detergent or bounce.

Location was perfect for wine country exploration. Quiet and private neighborhood.

The only issue we had was that the Circle M street sign was partially covered with bushes. It was hard to see even in the daytime. For first timers it would be easy to go pass.

Great value for the price, very clean, beautiful views, and great WiFi!

This place was fantastic! I got in at night and once I figured out I was at the wrong gate, everything else was so smooth! I don’t do AirBnB because not having a check-in desk gives me anxiety. The instructions that were provided were so clear that it made it a very smooth process. My friends stayed in a room with a shared bathroom but I was grateful that I booked the big room with its own bathroom and sun room. I was able to take a business video call on the air conditioned sun room and it was fantastic. The TV was already logged into the apps so it was really easy to fall asleep to at night. Everything was very clean and the welcome basket was a nice touch.

Leaving to meet your Uber driver can be a little dark at night but that’s such a minor complaint. This place was great!

The perfect private getaway to Temecula wine country!

Sommer Haus is a lovely, private, and secure property up in the hills with expansive views. We stayed in the spacious king suite and could not have been happier! The bed was the most comfortable we’ve ever slept in. Bottled water, snacks and other comfort items were provided plus a spacious mini fridge. We would most definitely return again next time we travel to Temecula, thank you Dean!

A great location and great price.

Sommer Hus couldn’t have made my stay any easier. To be clear this isn’t a hotel, a total of 3 bedrooms are rented out in a house. But the house is amazing! Great views, super clean and feels nostalgic in a way. Trapped in time. The location is also great as it’s super close to a lot of the wineries. The host was even nice enough to ship me an item I left at the property. This place was great as a solo traveler but would be even better if you wanted for a group who chose to book the rooms individually.

A peaceful and comfortable home to stay

This is a comfortable, peaceful, well stocked, clean and nicely decorated space. We picked the master room with a private bath, entrance and enclosed patio with beautiful views. We had use of the kitchen and a family room. Dean happened to be there to welcome us even though we had received great instructions of the codes to self-check in. We enjoyed our stay and if available, we would love to stay here again.

Perfect peaceful location in wine country

Perfect location for our stay, right in the heart of wine country. We also had our bikes so we could just roll out of the house and get on great bike routs. The kitchen was perfect for reheating food or simple sandwiches. I was worried about the shared bathroom but no issue at all. Very clean. And the location is so peaceful and quiet. We met the owner, very pleasant, gave us some recommendations for the area. Great stay overall, we will be back.

If you like hard or more stiff beds, you may not like this one. It was a little bouncy so if one of you is a light sleeper the movement of another person in the bed could wake you. Depends on how you sleep. Nothing else to say here!!

Deceptive advertising did not clearly state that two of the three rooms were a shared bathroom. We were told after we booked the room that they would let us know what room we were going to receive. In the confirmation there was no mention of a shared bathroom which we never would’ve accepted. The couple with the room next to us, also had no idea they were going to have to share the bathroom with us. This shows the deceptive advertising from the owner Dean, which would not listen to me and said too bad I didn’t see the fine print. I gave him a chance to offer some sort of partial refund out of fairness to avoid me making this bad review. Dean could care less.

Coffee bar was a nice touch, and overall super clean and welcoming. Even had snacks available. The view was great as well.

The home was VERY cold all the time. The instructions stated I could adjust the temperature, which I did, but it kept going back down to VERY cold temps every single day I was there. This made what was otherwise amazing, not so amazing.

Friendly host. Enjoyed the sunporch for morning coffee. Rooms are supplied with keurig coffee and tea and creamer. The place was VERY clean The main bedroom has an ensuite bathroom and attached sunporch seating area. The other 2 small guest rooms are across the hall from a shared bathroom Note that the Hall bathroom is shared with potentially 5 people: 2 guest rooms and the host. It is clearly noted in the property description, so guests certainly know what it is like. The price also reflects properly the shared bath.

Beautiful location. Early morning coffee in the sun room included hot air balloons in flight. When our coffee maker failed on our first try at making coffee in the room, the owner replaced it that day.
