This was a great apartment. The street has low traffic and is fairly quiet. There is one restaurant on the street. It is about a 6-8 minute walk to restaurants and shopping. It was easy to get to. We took a taxi there from the airport.
In France, taxes are paid separate from the room payment. I received e-mails indicating the taxes were unpaid - but they had been paid. It took a couple of calls to clear the tax issue - and then to obtain the access codes. They use technology, and the tax payment block precluded the apartment access code release. It took 30 minutes or so to work this through. As a side note, it would be great if the landlord carefully went through the unit to fix some of the very minor issues. For example, the toilet took time to recycle after a flush, and the curtains for the sliding glass door were not fully hung correctly.

Just 2-3 blocks from the bustling city center so it is quiet and calm. Easy 5 minute walk to grocery stores and river sunsets! Comfy bed and lovely relaxing porch. Nice for laundry!
