Close to a lake and view of the mountains
Lots of spiders in webs in between the windows and screens so you couldn't open them. Mattresses needed replacement.

Hillcrest Hideaway is a lovely vacation getaway in the North Georgia Mountains. It has everything you need to make your stay comfortable. The kitchen is spacious and has every utensil and gadget you could possibly need. Each bedroom plus the loft and main living areas have TVs. Full sized washer and dryer. The best part is the outside areas. There is a long screened porch with plenty of seating and beautiful views of the lake and mountains. There is also a lovely seating area with rockers and a swing surrounding a fire pit in the backyard off the back deck.
The only thing that was a tiny challenge for me was the 7 or 8 steps up at all entrances. I'm a little older, and I had to carry my small dog in and out for each potty break. The photos clearly show this. I just didn't think about it until I was there. It would be of no consequence to most people.

The view was wonderful. The house was great. It was good to be able to separate couples to different areas of the home. It was cozy with all sitting in front of the fireplace. The parking and location was perfect. Even the local stores could deliver.
There was nothing we didn't like. It was perfect!
