The location, right on the waterside, with great views from the excellent gardens, could not be surpassed. The breakfast was varied and plentiful, really enjoyed them - I don't eat breakfast at home but enjoy whilst away from home. The hosts were lovely folk who could not do enough for you, it was a pleasure meeting them.
Only a tiny point, we hadn't expected the tea/coffee fridge area to be as small as it was, not enough space in baby fridge for your own bottles for example. However, for the few days we were there we managed well enough, this didn't really detract from the excellent overall experience.

The hosts were very welcoming on arrival and cooked a lovely breakfast for us every morning, as well as offering great advice on places to visit in the area. It was peaceful, with a beautiful view and a lovely garden.

Spotlessly clean and very high end linen, soft furnishing toiletries , food … breakfast was fabulous. Hosts were lovely .
This is NOT an apartment ….no cooking facilities (not even a microwave) and no washing machine . This is a Bedroom with a a fridge and a seating area. The rooms are in the basement of th hosts house . When sitting on the sofa or lying in bed you cannot see the view as the windows are high and small. Staying with a toddler was not great as the space was really small so we left a day early.
