Home away from home , Perfect Family set !

Perfect for Family, of four,home away from home, value for money,rest & relax.

Location is very tricky,even if you have your own car, google maps are not a perfect guide for hill navigation,miss a lane & you will be lost, difficult to make a U turn on narrow lanes,must rely on local cab or local people for location. Kitchen has limited utensils,it's also not clean.

Location is bit far and steep but there are options of going through bus and shared taxi that's readily available. You wont gonna regret your decision of going there.

Location is 1.5 km from mall road if you have cab or car its perfect

As a family of four, we stayed at three different places in Shimla this season and I'd like to recommend Pilot Mukul Thakore's 'Home away from Home' as the best stay, with respect to: 1. ACCESSIBILITY (Bungalow by the road side, with parking space and Uber taxi availability - not a step to climb, to reach the accommodation; long steep climb to the Mall Road will keep young people fit in a few days) 2 . Long duration SUSTAINABILITY (Fully equipped kitchen with pressure cooker, dishes and a gas stove; provision stores nearby; washing machine (to be replaced shortly); refrigerator; dining room; backyard with clothes line, front yard with clothes drying rack; electric iron with ironing board; table fan; two bedrooms) 3. Excellent SERVICE provided by the manager, Lalit Sharma (Available on site all through the day and promptly addresses any concern; makes arrangements for food or transportation if required; daily waste management; fresh bed linen provided when needed) 4. HOMELINESS (The accommodation is a modified wing of Mukul's ancestral bungalow with his grandparents living above, and good neighbours next door; good courtyard with a lawn, a garden swing and provision for campfire)

It’s a great place to stay.It was the best experience staying there.Location is very beautiful and close to nature. This place is very well maintained. Staff was extremely friendly. Full setup ffor Home cooked food available. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. We loved the ambience I would highly recommend this place and I would definitely want to come back to this place again. Thank you Mr. Sharma for being a nice host.
