This is a beautiful, top floor apartment with stunning views over the tiled rooftops and small town square towards the hills of the Massif Central. The many books and works of arts give a sophisticated yet welcoming feel. Lots of space and light. We were met by Francois who let us in and was very kind. Central location meant that everything was within easy reach.
Over 70 steps to reach the apartment, with no lift. Not suitable if you have mobility issues, but a great way to get fit!

We liked everything, but the location and the host were exceptional. The main room is light and airy with great views of a very charming square. There are many restaurants and cafes very close by including the "les Halles" market and it is only a few minutes walk to the main pedestrian street. L'alchimie just opposite was our favourite place to eat. François the host was very helpful. We would have stayed longer but sadly there were only four days available when we booked.
It was not a problem for us but people with mobility issues should know that there are a lot of stairs to get to the apartment, but once you get there the view is terrific. The shower is very good but again could be difficult to access if you have mobility problems. We are late 60s and early 70s but managed without a problem though.
