Relaxing guest house with Jacuzzi & boat hire

The property is clean, quite cozy, bed is super comfortable and has baat hire which is quite cool and the hosts are welcoming.

Overall, the property was good, but there are a few areas that could be improved. The accommodation itself felt less like a traditional house and more like a luxurious shed. While the host were very respectful and pleasant, we did feel that there was a lack of privacy. The barrier between the main house and the guest accommodation is quite low and the properties are very close together, meaning we could see directly into one of the owners’ windows. A higher or more effective privacy barrier would make a significant difference. We also paid an additional £10 for the fireplace. However, we found that it only burned for around an hour, despite the listing stating that it could burn for up to four hours. This was disappointing and may be worth clarifying in the listing. We also felt that the jacuzzi should have been included in the overall price, rather than being an additional cost. Given the overall price of the stay, including the jacuzzi would have provided better value for money and enhanced the experience. If you are planning to rent the boat, I would strongly recommend confirming with the host that the petrol tank is full before setting off. You definitely do not want to risk running out of fuel while you are in the middle of the river. In terms of location, there is not much immediately surrounding the property. Two Rivers Shopping Mall is nearby and is very convenient for stocking up on supplies before heading to the property. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but I would say the property is particularly worth considering if you are planning to rent the boat as well. The boat is the unique feature that really makes the experience stand out, whereas the accommodation itself does not offer much beyond what you might find elsewhere.
