It was in a great location to explore Taranto. It was very clean and the vanity and shower were great. Our host now works in Rome so we didn’t get to meet her in person but we spoke on the phone, she was very nice and tried to help us.
The problem for us was the stairs. If we had known the room was on the third floor we wouldn’t have chosen it. None of the other reviews mentioned the stairs so I can only assume that they were much fitter than us.
On bookings it mentions rooms reached by stairs but we didn’t realise that there were so many. We missed that detail.
