Beautiful walks & waterfalls, owls hooting at dusk, great pubs in the nearby town. The cottage was well equipped with everything needed and the bed was super comfy.

A charming, peaceful cottage in a stunning location - perfect for a relaxing break and exploring the Dales and Lakes.

The cottage was beautifully presented and very picturesque, with stunning views all around. It was a peaceful, cosy place to relax after days out exploring. The log burner made evenings especially comfortable. The hosts were kind, helpful, and made the whole process easy and welcoming. It’s ideally located for visiting both the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District.

Tranquil & peaceful

I booked this on behalf of my mother & father in law for a birthday treat weekend away and can confirm they had an absolutely amazing time. They said it was cosy and tranquil, with everything you need in a beautiful part of the country. They felt right at home and the owners of the cottage were lovely & welcoming. They would love to visit again, and so would myself & my husband next time!

Perfect, we are coming back!

A very nice little cottage, very cosy and comfortable and very clean. The location is perfect, right out in the middle of the most beautiful countryside, but also very close to Sedbergh which is an interesting place with good pub and cafe. The hosts were very friendly and extremely helpful. We would have liked to stay a lot longer and we will definitely be coming back!

Caw Cottage is simply wonderful. Everything you need for a perfect relaxing stay in the Yorkshire Dales. Superbly laid out and extremely well maintained, Caw Cottage is ideal for a couple or small family.

Just beautiful

Everything! Beautiful little cottage that has everything you need Jacky and George were just delightful and went above and beyond. Lovely to meet them. 6 min drive from Sedbergh town centre and so many gorgeous walks around we only went to cautley falls due to weather but would love to come back and explore more. Quiet and private.

Lovely quiet property with lovely walks close by

Beautiful quiet area. Very peaceful. Our own Red Squirrel!!!

The property was very cold when we arrived, but we soon worked out turning on the heaters. As it was very cold and snowy we could have done with a bit more wood for the log burner for the first night. Also the lighter wasn't working. Luckily my husband was able to light paper on the toaster to get the fire going !!!

Jacky and George were amazing hosts, lovely little cottage in Sedbergh. Home away from home, with a furry little surprise outside on our last day (you really do need that squirrel food!).. Will definitely be returning :-)

A great little escape for peace and quiet in a comfy well equipped cottage.

Lovely cottage, very tastefully decorated and furnished, very comfortable, the bed was super comfy! Very well equipped and in a nice quiet area. The hosts were very communicative and pleasant to deal with.

The only negative was the Wi-Fi wasn’t working but this gets highly rated usually so I’m assuming we were just unlucky. It didn’t spoil our stay but was a tad inconvenient.
