Maison Volpi

Beautiful, traditional house sent in charming, tranquil Murano with welcoming owner. We loved staying in this beautiful house with its marble floors and spacious, airy rooms. Lovely to be just a short hop to Venice but away from the crowds. The vaporettos provide a constant, all hours connection to nearby Venice and the Venetian islands. We would return in a heartbeat.

The house has a lovely curved marble staircase but as seems common in Italy there is no handrail at the top. This might be difficult for some guests.

Locatie, prettig contact en uitstekende communicatie met de eigenaar, aangenaam ruim huis.

In douche waterstraal minimaal en soms alleen koud of alleen warm.

Es una casa enorme muy linda. Se encuentra en murano que es una zona muy tranquila si queres descansar. Con el barquito estás en 20 minutos de Venecia , es cerca! Muy linda experiencia tuvimos

Das Haus ist ein echter Einstieg in das Leben auf Murano. Es ist heimelig und traditionell. Es liegt abseits vom Touristentrubel, was wunderbar ist. Es empfiehlt sich aber auch, länger zu bleiben, da von dort aus, alles etwas länger braucht. Wer gerne eine entschleunigte Wohlfühlwoche erleben möchte, der ist bei Paolo und Catherine am richtigen Ort. Insbesondere gibt es ein gemütliches Wohnzimmer und in der Nähe, eine gemütliche Cafè-Bar, ein Coop und einen Obst- und Gemüsehändler.

Die Ausstattung könne man da und dort etwas auffrischen. Aber es ist nicht gravierend und wir waren alle der Meinung, dass wir auf jeden Fall wieder kommen und dann auch für länger!
