Sanafir Hotel - El Pacha Suites Sharm - Adults Only

Location is great. right in the middle of the shopping area. I only stayed one night because of a flight out of Sharm. They have a beach nearby which you can use. There is quite an nice swimmingpool, but water was too cold! They do have parties twice a week, right by the pool and the rooms. I wonder how noisy that must be. but I did not experience it. The place cannot be reached by car/taxi. So you have to get off before with your luggage and walk for 5 minutes. They have really nice friendly housecats. And the busstop restaurant next door is pretty good. Rooms were big.

The receptionist at time of morning check out was not capable of ordering me a taxi to the airport. He told me to go to the road the way I came thru the covered market, but that was closed in the morning. Ended up walking to another hotel to get a taxi. Breakfast is only by ordering, you cannot grab anything yourself. I asked for the croissant but they were out of it already a few days. I did find one bedbug, when I squashed it it was full of blood. Not mine, because I was not bitten. But this bug might also gotten in with me from the taxi driver, caused he stuffed my bags in his trunk full of blankets-probably for his camel or donkey.

Quick overnight, excellent location.

My general feeling was that the place has seen better day's, appears kind of run down. That being said, if I was 30 years younger and there was no war going on,this place is built for parties.

Pool. Sitting areas. Hotel Breakfast and beach area. Suite size and decor. Friendly Cats around

1. The bathroom boiler does not reach an adequate heating level during winter. It only becomes slightly warm and does not provide proper hot water. 2. The bathtub shower handle is broken, causing water to spray everywhere and making the shower difficult to use. 3. The Wi-Fi signal is very weak and often does not work at all. 4. The bedroom air conditioner does not cool the room. It only operates in fan mode, leaving the room hot and uncomfortable. 5. The bedroom window is located next to a staff/employee room. The workers are frequently loud and talk continuously, making it very difficult for us to sleep. 6. At the hotel restaurant called Bus Stop downstairs, we experienced very poor service. One waiter (bald, working at the time) was cold and dismissive toward us. However, when foreign guests arrived, his attitude changed completely—he became overly attentive and friendly toward them while ignoring us. Our order was left unfinished and passed to another waiter (also bald and slightly overweight), who served coffee of extremely poor quality. When explained later, he offered the coffee as complimentary. This experience felt discriminatory, as the difference in treatment between Arab guests and foreign guests was very noticeable. Unfortunately, this behavior appears to be common in this district, and it made our visit very disappointing.
