Great stop off point on a long journey. Good enough for a night. Comfortable beds and peaceful.

The kitchen could have had more equipment - scissors to open packets and colander to drain pasta. The shower easily drenched the floor because the shower curtain was light and flimsy and the shower quite powerful.

peaceful location and a good option if travelling further south

whole house in the French countryside. simply furnished but perfectly sufficient for our stopover on our way south. I would describe the place as rustic though all beds seemed to have new mattresses.

nothing to not like though if I’m being picky then I would say the shower wouldn’t be great for a longer stay

Very quiet and peaceful location. The house was clean and tidy with a large garden area.

Generally well equipped for a short stay but needs a chopping board in the kitchen and bigger towels!

We stayed at the house for a stopover night on our way to our family holiday in the Dordogne. We found the house easy to find although it did really help having seen the pictures of the house first as we arrived in the dark and the house was off the road up a drive, after a quick walk up the drive I recognised the house immediately. The house was very clean and tidy and perfect for a night for my family of 5. There were adequate facilities for us to cook a meal in the evening and plenty of space in the house. The location for us was ideal, just outside Rouen, and meant we didn't take much of a detour off our route to get there. Communication with the owner was very good and he always got back to me the same day. We would certainly stay again and recommend the house.

The only suggestion for improvement I would have is that it would have been lovely to sit out in the summers evening to eat our meal in the sunshine so even a simple plastic garden table and chairs would be an added bonus to the house.
