Typical charming small French seaside hotel. Great location, lovely staff and good food. Chatelaillion is a gem.
This criticism is only relevant at the the time of our stay, 10 March 2026. But when we arrived the hotel was undergoing extensive renovation and extension. It was shrouded in scaffolding with noisy building works during the day. It would have been nice to have been warned of this. However when they are complete it will be a lovely place to stay.

The beach was right out the front. The wifi worked well. There is street parking right out front.
The room could have been cleaner. There was only two small bottles of shower gel, no hand soap. There was no one on reception when we checked in and only saw someone when we checked out. There isn’t an elevator only stairs to the second floor.
