Lots of outdoor space, nice country feel. Saw kangaroos and Rosellas. The out door table is lovely sunny spot for breakfast

OMG THE BEDS!!! Absolutely heaven to sleep on! Marigold Cottage is truly a fabulous getaway location. The quiet & serenity and in total privacy. The wildlife - kangaroos, ducks, so many birds, the singing kookabarras - stunning. The house was lovely and cosy for a winter getaway, even without the log fire on, the house was lovely and warm with air conditioning. The owner was super helpful and quick to respond to messages, ensuring we had a great stay. We had everything we needed for a fantastic relaxing getaway. We WILL be back!
Not a dislike but maybe helpful advice to fellow travellers - the main lounge is very low to the ground, making it difficult to get on and off. Super comfortable but could pose an issue for someone with mobility issues. Saying that, the house is geared to accommodating accessibility so please don't let the lounge be the reason not to come. There were other chairs to sit in. The owner was incredibly helpful (and wanting to make sure every body has a comfortable stay) so you could discuss that prior to coming.

I was in need of accommodation with a kitchen as close as possible to a wedding venue and this was the only one I could find to serve the purpose; I was delighted with my find. The hostess was an absolute treasure, making sure everything was ready and that we would be comfortable. The house is huge and set in a lovely location with plenty of land surrounding the house. The kitchen was superbly kitted out with quality equipment and everything you could possibly need.
Being a rural location the water was tank-based and the pumping system was not set up well, so that cycling while using the shower was annoying and made having a consistent water temperature impossible - and we are used to tank water and pumps. The accommodation cost was high, and so small things such as blind hems coming undone and sliding doors not being secure, as well as the television not working with free to air was annoying.
