The property was clean, quite comfortable and mostly met our expectations.
The kitchen/dining area was quite cramped and there were only three chairs for the dining table and four of us, so we had our meals elsewhere

Location is great. Local shops in walking distance. Spacious rooms. Easy to access.
Some of the furniture seems not too sturdy. Had to handle with care thinking it will fall apart.. The bath panel kept falling off as the toilet window was opened. The nails were visible, and it is risky for kids. It was a bit pricy for the standard but it was for one night, so it was OK.

Town centre location but still very quiet. Excellent parking.

It’s unique quirky and spacious also decent location , not far from bus and train station ( nice routes to Liverpool ) plenty of shops around , pub across road is challenge 25, no I.D your not going in even for none alcoholic drinks.
It’s a little dated which is fine it’s part of it’s charm with antiques etc, there is some wear and tear especially in bathroom and walkway towards bathroom with some of the floor coming up , we was fine more of a concern with little kids as potentially sharp.

The only good thing about this place was the Indian restaurant a few doors away.
The cleanliness and general state of the property was so bad we did seek alternative accommodation. In the bathroom there is mould and fungus growing behind the toilet and damp on the ceiling which is very dangerous. My little girl pointed out the mushrooms growing in the bathroom after picking one of them, can you imagine my horror worried she may have then put her fingers in her mouth? The tiles on the floor in the bathroom are cracked and rugged edges although I could see that some of them had previously been filled. The mirror and the sink were dirty with marks and hairs from perhaps previous occupants. My mum who suffers from asthma was coughing from the amount of dust in the accommodation. There are lots of stains on the living room carpet and not somewhere we would like to relax in The lamp had a dangerous wire again discovered by my little girl trying to turn the lamp on! There were countless cobwebs throughout the property which I know spiders make webs and this is beyond your control but a lot of the webs also had dust hangings on them which shows they have been there for quite some time. Finally the fridge freezer on the kitchen was unusable due to the fridge being dirty and the freezer so over due a defrost and a clean the ice buildup actually makes the door difficult to open. The whole place needs a deep clean and freshening up. As you can imagine I’m not very happy and this has spoilt my dad’s birthday weekend. We had received a message from the property host advising they were away abroad and if we had any issues to contact the cafe, which was closed. We tried to call the host but the mobile number provided on the booking did not work so I sent a message to the host to advise of all of the issues. The response I received was unbelievable, I will add the response to my images as the host had lied about being abroad and suggested that my issues we not true. She also questioned why I would use the freezer!

Location very good as had family nearby. All facilities I needed were there.
As a one person stay, with majority of my time spent with family it proved expensive.

Location was paramount, so on paper this property fitted the bill. We had an elderly relative with us, so the fact that the property had two bedrooms was preferable to a hotel stay. The property was generally clean and comfortable.
Despite the booking info and comment in the properties "Info binder" there was no milk supplied.
The bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom radiators all worked, but the radiator valves in the lounge area and on the landing were either broken or missing. Consequently the lounge stayed was fairly cold. Not ideal when with an elderly relative.
The TV was "Fire Stick" only. We could not get this to work. Decor and furnishings were somewhat dated.

Great location to stay in terms of distance from Cheshire Oaks. Cosy shabby chic feel.
Bedding wasn’t prepped for sofa bed. Had to ring owner to find out where it was. She was helpful though & thought it had been done. Couldn’t work out how to open the sofa bed so ended up just using it to sleep in the sofa. TV kept freezing so couldn’t use it. Window in lounge not working properly.

It was central and had all what we needed .
It was value for money will definitely stay again and recommend
On Sunday we noticed water on the flat roof and realised it was coming from the sink in the kitchen, bathroom sink and shower has all the pipes we're just left open .I was a bit concerned about the cafe below .

The location was ideal. Everything at walking distance.
Good size accommodation with plenty of sleeping space.
Good range of activities provided for kids.
We respect that the decor matched the tea shop downstairs. However, the paint and decor should have been more neutral to suit everybody's taste. It was too much of a clutter, and quite dark and depressing. The light in the living room was so dim and also flickering, that even with the additional lamp it was too dark to sit in, especially for the kids.
The cleaning was not to a very good standard, my little daughter had a dust allergy on the first day of arrival, and no mirrors were cleaned properly as all had either dust or wipe streaks.
Few spider webs found- in kitchen, living room and toilet.
The mattresses were not comfortable, they were too soft. Did not have a good night sleep.

After a long and exhausting day of travel it took us a little while to realize that the host obviously didn't do a proper due diligence, maintenance and cleaning of the property. It started with an unpleasant smell. We then found a note on the kitchen table informing us about utility issues. Subsequently we discovered a used and dirty teaspoon among the clean(?) cutlery in the drawer, a used teabag in the tea supplies, sticky knobs on top of the handrail posts, spiderwebs in the light fixtures, multiple stains in the carpet and waste in the backyard (the key to the backyard was provided with the entrance key). In addition, the shampoo bottle was empty (already rinsed), the ceiling light in the living room went randomly to dim for no apparent reason and the cistern in the bathroom looked like it might fall off any time. Just FYI, although advertised for up to 5, the kitchen table sits only 3.
Having enough serious doubts that the facility was actually clean and safe and knowing, that all this can't be fixed fast, we decided to leave. We ended up staying in a hotel in Liverpool instead. Unfortunately, confronted with the issues (see pictures) the host still remains in a complete denial of the actual situation and is accusing us of being not truthful but creating a "mess" in her house (just for the record: Yes, we actually started to settle in before we discovered and realized the unacceptable overall condition. So we did use the facility but we definitely didn't create a "mess" nor stayed there overnight - although I'm pretty sure that the host might end up repeating these false accusations here). The host only acknowledged the used teabag but didn't even apologize for her sloppy housekeeping. Her only comment was "Who would do that?"
Booking-dot-com customer service actually did apologize for the situation but informed us that they were unsuccessful too.

Tidy and mostly clean with lots of towels and extra bedding. Good location for what we needed.
The flat needs several repairs; the toilet cistern was coming away from the wall and the kitchen window didn't open. The pillows were very uncomfortable. There was a used pair of knickers behind the cistern in the bathroom and a T-shirt with very suspicious stains on it in a cupboard in the double bedroom. Net curtains for privacy in the bedrooms, both of which face the main road, would have been appreciated! It was very noisy at night with drunk people sitting on the wall and arguing at 2am.

Lovely apartment, lots of toiletries to choose from, hosts provided coffee, tea etc and fresh milk. Clean and tidy. Hosts left an abundance of information in a neatly organised folder. Loads of choice of take away food within a couple of minutes walking distance.
TV had no signal, just a fire stick which had no cable to plug it in.

communication from the host was brilliant. lockbox for the keys was easy to use. Great parking outside the entrance. Flat was clean and tidy. plenty of towels and bedding. great shower.
the kitchen wasn’t very well equipped. there were a few pots and pans for cooking, but not many utensils.
the TV was run off a fire stick and the signal wasn’t brilliant at points, which wasn’t the end of the world, but a bit frustrating.
